The lid isn't even close to being a perfect fit

I purchased the 6 oz containers as well as the lids to go with them. The maximum height of the container is three. The lids in the description state that they are 3 inches wide, but they are actually 5 inches wide. They appear to be 5 inches long, but they are only 3 inches long. a total flop Look at the pictures. Now I'm stuck with 2,000 lids that I can't use.
