It feels cheaper and has a smaller surface area than the Sporks that arrived today. The spork has been updated, so the photos no longer accurately portray the spork. As you can see in the picture (left) and (right) the old spork and the new spork are very different. It was disappointing.
When we go camping, I use these to reduce the amount of The fun part is that the coals can be used after dinner to start a fire! I think it is just beyond criminal to use plastic for a single use! One per person is used each day, then they are burned each evening as we start a fire. They are not deep dish spoons, so they may not be the best choice if you are mostly serving soups and stews, but you can still use them. This is such a great deal! Creating convenience that doesn't compromise your morals! The phrase "these things are copyrighted" is now mine.
The party scene is enhanced by their quick arrival and the best sound quality. There is just enough length to the tines of the fork. It doesn't hold up well if you want to stir anything, and they look slightly thinner than the wooden chips passed off as spoons in your mini ice creams from way back when, but they're great for parties and I put them in my compost after they're used up. The new wooden spoons and forks are a great alternative to plastic if you want something more sustainable than plastic but don't want to buy bulk spoons and forks right now.
The teenagers claim they never take anything into their bedroom or leave it there. I think they have them under their beds, but they say they have never taken kitchenware or flatware into the room and left it. As a result. For the sake of not eating finger foods for the rest of our lives, we decided to purchase these wooden sporks. The added benefit of them being kindling is that they work well. Use your spork to begin a fire (matches not included) when you have finished eating.
Plastic is increasingly becoming less and less of a problem. The first time I made a change in our household, I was very resistant to it. However, it won out in the end. The bags can be used by one person I use a lot of time Then rinse well and use again within a short time. The plastic we used to reuse used to sound weird, but we did. As one of the people in our house discards the metal utensils, we used plastic instead However, those plastic sporks tend to break over time. On the bright side, wooden sporks should work better both for the environment and for people.
The look was lovely, but the price was higher than traditional plastics. It was worth it to me to know that there would be less plastic in garbage. They were great for the occasion, even though they were primarily used for cake and ice cream. My only complaint is that they still have somewhat of a woody taste to them. For me, it reminded me of the single serve ice cream with a wooden spoon when I was a child. There were still people who did not enjoy that taste.
The plastic is less damaging to the environment than the jar. I will buy again. There are now lots of friends buying them. It is superior to single use plastic. It biodegrades, so it will not harm the environment.
