These are adorable paper bowels with a shark theme. They're sturdy enough to hold a moderate amount of food without falling apart, but anything that's particularly heavy should be doubled up. I've tried them in the microwave, and they do warp a little if left in for a long time, so double up. br>br>My only concern with these, and ALL paper bowels, is that they aren't as leak-proof as they claim. I saw a commercial where someone was eating cereal out of one of these. Having done so with these bowels, I can confidently state that they will not withstand the test. When exposed to liquids, the paper begins to disintegrate quickly. While eating, I've had a few start to leak. As a result, I wouldn't recommend them for such a task. Or soup. Stews, ice cream, and other semi-liquid items are acceptable. br>br>Otherwise, these are extremely useful. I'd buy them again in a heartbeat.
The kids were ecstatic to learn that they would be eating from "their" cool shark plates. The fact that there was no mess to clean up was also a big hit with the parents. Never discount the value of a gift! LOL I highly recommend these for our family and as a gift for those who have children.
I bought these to hold watermelon chucks for my son's birthday party and thought they were so cute, but they leak from the bottom and the lids are flimsy and difficult to secure properly to the bowls. I might buy them again, but only as snack cups for popcorn, chips, or other items that don't require a lid and can't leak.
I bought these as a joke birthday present for my son-in-law, who visits every year for Shark Week. For him, I look for sharks on unusual objects. Paper plates are something I would never have thought of!.
One of my relatives required Covid-induced isolation. 19 and these cups served me well during that time; I served soups and cereals in them, and they were very durable. I'll definitely use the leftover cups for desserts, and I'll most likely order more to keep on hand.
These bowls are very sturdy, and the food I put in them stays warm for a long time.
Tops would have made these even better, but they're the perfect size for sharing desserts and snacks with friends.
