These aren't the same Chinet plates you're used to seeing. Why pay a premium for these flimsy plates, which are probably half the thickness of the chinets I've purchased in the past? In the future, I'll look for a different job.
I've been using Chinet plates and platters for a long time and have always been pleased with them. They were built to last, were super rigid for those heavy foods, and were of the highest quality. br>Enough is enough. These were terrible, and I just ordered them for a large group this weekend. They arrived on time at first, but not in the manner I had expected. They were punctuated by a pair of long linear bubbles that ran the length of all 165 plates. When we handled them, they had a cheap feel to them. We didn't have a choice but to use them, so that's exactly what we did. BBQ chicken and potato salad proved to be far too much for these low-cost plates, which failed in all but one case. There was no chicken for that guest. I've learned my lesson and won't be purchasing Dinet in the future. I could buy a cheaper plate and double them up and save a lot of money at the price charged.
I'm not sure if it was the same seller, but they appear to be warped in some way. We've been using these for a long time because they're convenient to clean. The last two packages we've received look as if they failed the quality control test and were sent to a wholesaler. br>br>I know it's just a paper plate, but what could possibly go wrong with that? These, on the other hand, do not rest flat on the table. Some appear wrinkled, and some appear to have been wet and dried. They don't lay flat on a counter, so I'm not sure why they appear to be pressed incorrectly. Take a look at the images I've included. They don't have a flat center and appear to be seconds. br>br>I suppose I shouldn't be complaining, but I'm paying a lot of money for something that appears to be drop shipped by a third party. We've never had them look like this in all the years we've used them. These appear to be convex, rather than flat, in the middle. Simply put, I am no longer purchasing these items.
When we opened the packaging on the day of the party, however, we were dismayed to find that many of the plates were damaged, defective, stained, or filthy. I wish we had opened them a few days ahead of time so we could get replacements, but who would have guessed that so many plates would be unusable? I know they say you get what you pay for, but I wish they had advertised it as 65 plates that were 100% usable instead. Instead of 165 plates, only half of them could be used.
The ease with which these plates can be used for everyday meals is fantastic. The price is more than reasonable, and the product is sturdy enough to hold both hot and cold foods. It's simple to cut meats and vegetables, and the plate isn't ruined in the process. I order them on a regular basis and have had great success with them over the last three years. They work for me, and they eat the lion's share of my food. I'm retired, which means I'm no longer responsible for doing the dishes.
These plates are extremely durable and cost a reasonable amount of money. The pack consists of a large number of individuals. They withstand microwave heating well and can even hold messy foods without becoming soaked.
These plates are to die for. I've been purchasing Chinet plates for a long time. In fact, Chinet plates are used by my family for the third generation. They're always sturdy, and I've never had a problem with food soaking through the Chinet plates or holding the plate because of the weight of the food. Thanks a lot, Chinet! 🤠.
These plates are used to serve everything except prime rib. It's well worth it because it requires less handling and can simply be thrown away once they're finished. I'd say more, but Amazon has a habit of listening in on our conversations.
