These are adequate for the task at hand. Keep in mind that the bowls are shallow and can only hold a small amount of food. They're made of plastic and look fine for an outdoor gathering, but they'll crack if you drop them.

Originally purchased to hold snacks on a buffet with serving tongs, these are now used on a daily basis. If you have a dishwasher, they seem to work well on the top shelf.

This is what I used at my party for my candy bar! Holds a lot of stuff and is very classy; I like how it's made of plastic but looks like glass. I got the largest size available; it was an excellent purchase that I will be able to reuse in the future.
