We can't afford a dishwasher, so finding compostable dishes has been a lifesaver in terms of keeping my sanity in the kitchen - Particularly during Covid, when we eat three times a day at home. I've used these bowls for soup and yogurt and they've held up well. They hold up well in the microwave and are durable. I'm very pleased with my purchase and plan to subscribe. Because of the bowl shape, I only gave it four stars instead of five. You'll need more than 16 ounces of cereal if you like a big bowl.
HOT SOUP was the focus of this brand. While eating the soup, it did not melt, become soggy, or break down. I couldn't believe my eyes. It's also a biodegradable bowl, which makes me feel good. Also, the value for the number of bowls is incredible. Thank you very much. I'll buy from you again without a doubt.
I'm a food forest gardener who is always looking for ways to add biomass, and I thought these compostable bowls would be perfect for composting into my paths in the same way that I compost cardboard and coffee filters. They, on the other hand, are causing me problems. After we've finished with our plates and bowls, we give them to our dogs to lick. It's the highlight of their day, and it helps them eat fewer treats. My chiweenie ate the bowl after I gave it to them after dinner. He wasn't just trying to drink up all the juices from his dinner; It's almost as if he enjoyed eating the bowl. I'm not sure if this is going to be detrimental to him. I don't mind if he eats it as long as he is not harmed. When the bowls are wet, they become slightly limp, which is beneficial for compostability. I'm hoping they don't get stuck in Bingo's stomach and cause him to stop breathing. Please leave a comment if you know about or have had this experience.
Because I care about the environment, I've always avoided using paper plates. I was ecstatic to come across these 100% compostablr bowls and plates. They're extremely durable and can even be used in the microwave!br> They are more expensive than regular flimsy paper plates. These bowls and plates, on the other hand, are ideal for helping to save the environment.
These are lovely biodegradable paper bowls that don't need to be bleached. We use these for outdoor barbecues and other occasions where I believe the plate will need to be discarded after one use. Other papers appeal to me because they are less harmful to the environment than Styrofoam or wax-coated paper. They are efficient and effective at what they do. When I run out, I'll most likely buy them again.
I chose these over my usual brand bowls because they are compostable and therefore better for the environment. However, because these are thick cardboard, things like melted cheese stick to them like glue, and scraping at them doesn't help. I'll return to my regular brand, which is free of this issue.
We had birria on the table. So these bowls were put to the test: they weren't flimsy or soaked through, and people were able to eat second and third helpings with the same bowl. I still have a few bowls left over, which I give to my worm bin once they've been used. They've happily devoured them.
The fact that these are compostable is fantastic! When I know these will degrade and nourish again, I don't feel as bad about using paper plates!.
