I despise using plastic containers in the freezer, so these are ideal. I have trouble opening them, and if they're made of a cheaper plastic, they break when you try to open them. These opened easily; there are holes in the top, but there is a layer between the outside and the inside, making it a three-layer top with no holes in the middle. br>br>If the "kids" make a mess on the top of the container rim, cover it with the lid and place it in the freezer. You can still open the carton without ruining it. br>br>The bad news (for my figure) is that I've found a fantastic ice cream recipe that is super easy to make and that I've made a lot of. I'll have to go out and get some more containers now. br>br>I'm also considering using them in the applesauce we'll be making in about a week. For the time being, I believe they should suffice; You can either eat it right away or save it to eat later.

These were used as part of a chili bar at my niece's wedding shower. I was concerned that they were too small at first, but they turned out to be ideal because they prevented people from taking more food than they could consume. As a result, we had a gathering of 25 people. Swimming was still going on in the pool, but we were watching football on three TVs.
