Feeling a little let down

It seems that the case was poorly prepared and hastily put together. Because of the way it was packaged, I would have assumed the items would arrive undamaged, but they did not. Could it have been damaged during shipping? It appeared to have been dinged and scraped during shipment. It has a chipped corner on the mirrored plates in the bottom. It is applied only to one side of the mirror on top of the housing, while it is applied to the other side of the mirror to seal it to the sides. I laid down so much tape and plastic wrap it would choke a herd of goats, and the tape residue is a pain to get off Among the many problems I've had in the past, removing the film on the front glass has been the most challenging. Even though I am not overly happy, it seems to cool well and it isn't super loud, so it will have to do for now. It is unlikely that I will buy from this seller again.
