After spilling a large cup of water while on Zoom with my therapist and complaining about how much I hate spilling things, I got a water bottle. This was something I specifically requested. If I don't close the spout right away, the drink will suck up the straw. I could have just put a lid on my cup and closed the spout after each sip if I wanted to. But now, this MONSTER is the one who spills the beans for me. My cocktail is red, as you might have guessed. When I got back to my drink a few minutes later, I had a puddle of red liquid all over my tray. I recorded a time lapse of it to make sure I wasn't hallucinating. Then I went to get a drink and opened the spout, which caused it to erupt like a volcano; it would have been easier to use as a cup if I had just gotten a cardboard box. They had to put in a lot of effort to create a cup that isn't functional. Consider it for a moment. You can make a cup out of anything. Nonetheless, I purchased this cup, which went out of its way to empty itself of liquids. Don't bother with this guy; the cup will drink for you, and that's a mess.
The issue has been resolved! If you've ever had a cat, you understand how annoying it is to have an open cup of water nearby. They dig their paws, faces, and tails into it. My little bugger was chewing on the straw of my favorite cup, which has a lid, in the middle of the night, and making the water taste funny, which is unusual for an animal that dislikes water. I thought there was a problem with the pipes and even called maintenance, but then one night I caught her in the act. As a result, I went around looking for solutions and was shown these. She can't get to it because the cap is covering the straw. She is unable to press the button because moving the lock slider requires more force than she possesses. Oh, she's given it her all! However, she is unable to grasp it without tipping it over. I get a lot of laughs, but she gets a lot of irritated. It's a win-win situation for all parties involved. I'm going to lose. br>br>I've only had it for a short time, but I'm really enjoying it so far and am looking forward to using it more. br>br>Ease of cleaning: For a water bottle, it's surprisingly good. The wide mouth makes it easy to insert a bottle scrubber brush. Although the straw is wide enough for a straw cleaner, I rarely clean the cap because I only use it for drinking water. br>br>Contrary to popular belief, there are a number of disadvantages to using this product. br>Property of insulation of - The ice cubes are instantly melted. To be honest, an open plastic cup keeps them fresher for longer. But, since I mostly just want to keep litter paws out of my water, this isn't an issue for me.

Pick one up on your way out the door. After I get home, I'll put it in the dishwasher. Any Contigo product, especially these newly updated water bottles, is highly recommended.
I used to have the previous Contigo water bottles and loved them for about 5 years! I had to order two new ones because mine had finally broken. I must admit that I prefer the older, stationary handle. When I go to take a drink, I either have to raise the handle or it gets in the way and hits my mouth, forcing me to lower it. It's quite bothersome. The new mouthpiece is also shorter and wider than the previous one. The older model's mouthpiece is longer and narrower, which I prefer. Dishwashing is great, and I've never had a mildew problem after taking it apart. The body's contour makes it easy to grip.
I wasn't particularly concerned with the design. br>br>On a regular basis, this device sprays liquid from the top. br>br>I'm getting rid of both of them because whenever I open the lid, whatever liquid is in them spills all over the place. It was a bad idea to make a straw design.
These were given as a gift, and the recipient is very pleased with them because they allow them to drink while working out or studying without tilting their heads back. Personally, I prefer cups without straws because straws tend to get lost or dirty over time, but the water bottles are of good quality, and I believe most people would be satisfied with them if they needed a water bottle with a straw.
My two children will receive a pack of Contigo water bottles as a Christmas stocking stuffer. The Coriander one was fine, but the Teal one refuses to absorb any liquid. There isn't any suction on it. We tried to figure out what was causing the problem but were unsuccessful. There is no visible damage; it is simply defective for the sole purpose for which it was designed. I'm trying to replace it, but there's no way to return it, and Contigo isn't responding to my emails sent directly to their website or through Amazon. I don't have the original packaging to return it in (it was separated for gifting to my children and wrapped), so my only option is to return both water bottles in the original packaging. I'd like to keep the one that works, but I'm stuck with a faulty product and no way to fix it.
I put it on the bottom rack because it was too tall for the top rack, and it melted the first time I washed it.
