It's nice to look at, but it's not very useful

I'm glad I bought it because it's a very cute set. These are appropriate for an adult household or as a kitchen display piece (not for everyday use). One of mine had a small chip in the finish on the ear (see photos), which I fixed with a black sharpie to make it less noticeable (it doesn't have the gloss finish, but no one else has noticed). My grandkids adore them, which means they want to play with them at the table, even though they aren't built to withstand childish antics. The magnets pull very hard when putting them together, which makes them stick well, but I'm concerned that if I don't hold on to them, they'll come together too quickly. The bottoms of the feet aren't finished, which is common in glazing, but if you don't want them to pick up extra schmutz from your table or countertops, I recommend sealing them. I'm crafty, and I have UV resin that I'll use to seal them so they don't stain.

One of them was broken, which was a shame

I bought these as a Christmas present but decided to save them for a birthday present after realizing I had purchased too many gifts. Unfortunately, one of the legs was broken, and I didn't notice until after it had been opened for my husband's birthday in February, so it was too late to return. I wish I'd done so earlier! They are, however, very cute.

Paint job is terrible

The paint job on these was terrible. They didn't resemble Boston's in the least, and a four-year-old could probably do a better job. Definitely not as depicted in the description and appears to be of low quality. They're a little bigger than I expected, but that's not a problem for me. One of them didn't have a stopper, so it couldn't be used. For all of these reasons, I'm returning them for a refund.

Everything appeared to be as it should have been

It was a fantastic collectible item for salt and pepper shaker fans. The magnet came off as soon as we took it out of the package, which is a shame because it's a great gift for a Boston Terrier fan. We looked everywhere, and I'm crossing my fingers that my dog doesn't find it and eat it!.

These are so cute. I bought them as a present for her, and she was overjoyed. A small magnet on their lips causes them to kiss, which is excellent quality for the price. It's so adorable.
