The oven mitt, on the other hand, isn't very well insulated. I tried using it for the first time to remove a pan from a 450°F oven and had to return the pan to the oven after about 5 seconds because I almost burned my fingers through the oven mitt! Everything else in the set, on the other hand, works perfectly. I would still recommend this item for decorative purposes or for use with items that are only moderately warm (such as an oven mitt).

This set was purchased to match the dish towels I had purchased several months prior. I was thrilled to see that they had released a matching set of pot holders to the one I purchased. My towels, which I purchased several months ago, are now extremely soft and I adore them. However, even after being washed, the towels in this set are stiff and rough. These towels have a different shade of red than the rest of the towels. This set appeals to me, but the fabric quality could have been higher if it had been similar to the other towels. I'm going to order a second set of the towels because they're so soft. I haven't tried the pot holders yet, so I can't say anything about them.

Prior to these, I bought a four-pack of Franco dish towels, which was fantastic! These may appear to be the same, but they are not. They aren't nearly as soft as the others. The glove is ineffective as well. I took enchiladas out of the oven today, and I had to rush to get them from the oven to the top of the stove before they burned. Maybe they're just there for show. The 4-star rating is something I would strongly suggest. However, a pack of dish towels is extremely soft and effective!.

This set of kitchen towels and mittens is one of the most attractive I've ever purchased. It's a good size, and the colors are bright. The material appears to be of good quality, and I purchased this set to use as a kitchen display. However, it complements my Yellow Lemon Kitchen theme perfectly. br>Excellent value for money. br>.

These are just as lovely as they appear in the picture and are well made. They only get a three-star rating because they can't withstand heat. The mitts are particularly ineffective when it comes to protecting your hands from burns. Several times, I've worn out the mitts and pads. I am a slow learner. These are only meant to be used as a decorative item.

The colors are as shown, but they are not as soft as they appear in the description. I washed the towels, and it made a difference- Color was also retained. The pot holders are stiff, making it difficult to fold them when trying to grab something, so I'll wash them as well and see what happens.

These had a fishy odor when I first got them. It occurred to me that it could have been a chemical. I used vinegar, laundry detergent, baking soda, and Downey to soak them. There was no way to get rid of the stench. I received a refund, but I was forced to discard the items. I'm afraid I'll get the same smell if I order again. Leaving my apartment was a difficult task.

These are some of my favorite patterns. In my kitchen, the blue owls are particularly lovely. The towels, unfortunately, do not hold up well after being washed. We only use these to add a little flair to the room. However, one small dot of food landed on it, requiring me to wash it. After only one wash, the towel began to fade. Because you can't buy just the towel, I'm left with an incomplete set because the towels aren't in good shape. It's a lovely collection of pieces. I'm undecided about purchasing a second set.
