Questions & Answers

The image says "dishwasher safe," but the "caring for your taco holders" image says to hand wash them. What is the difference between correct and incorrect?

So far, we've used them every other week for over six months and put them through the dishwasher without rust spots or visible deterioration. We wouldn't keep them for long if we had to handwash them.

Can I use an air fryer to cook these?

That's not how I've used them. However, based on the material, they should last a long time; however, your results may vary.

Would 5" diameter corn tortillas hang properly over the bends if I turned them upside down and baked them in the oven?

Yes, it would be feasible. Because the hump measures 4 3/4", you may need to overlap the shells slightly. We baked wontons (for wonton tacos) by turning them upside down.

taco stand with a purpose These are incredible! To bake your taco shells, flip them upside down, then turn them right side up to stuff and serve your tacos, then toss them in the dishwasher for easy cleanup! They're sturdy and solid, and they've quickly become my new favorite taco tool!.

Shells are very nice

The taco shells are of excellent quality. I used them to make won ton taco shells, which you can get at Applebee's. Because won tons are so small, I couldn't get the curved part of the shells to be wide enough to hold the filling. These oven-safe shell holders made perfect won ton taco shells, and when the tacos were filled, they made a nice presentation of filled tacos. They're fantastic.

And, when I put the shells in the oven or right after they come out of the oven, I can put a cheese in them to melt, and the melted cheese goes so well with meat on top of that, then cold ingredients on top of that. To keep your tacos upright, place the holders on your plate. They're also simple to wash by hand or in the dishwasher. Use stainless steel scrubbers to remove any baked-on food, just as you would with any other stainless steel cookware. These are going to last a long time, in my opinion.

When they were first delivered, I used them for the first dinner. I reheated them with the taco shells, placed them on dinner plates, inserted the taco shells, and began stuffing them. The tacos stayed warm throughout the meal thanks to the heated holders. "What were you expecting these for when they arrived?" my partner inquired. " After he finished his hot tacos, he didn't say anything else about them. ".

These are exquisitely crafted. They have a good width and a downward curve, both of which distinguish them from the competition. Taco nights are actually more enjoyable because this product eliminates the struggle of preparing your tacos exactly how you want them.

When cheese bakes on them, they're even more difficult to clean. A sheet of aluminum foil, on the other hand, fits perfectly over them and makes them extremely easy to use. Excellent quality, long-lasting, and attractive design. I'm glad I took the plunge and purchased them. I'm not sure why I took so long to respond.
