I bought it because I have to hold the shell upright with one hand while filling it with the other every time I fill a taco shell. I mean, what's the big deal? Well, it was always a chore for me, and I'd always end up with half of the taco filling falling all over the plate rather than in the taco shell. Now I can easily fill the taco shells by slipping them into the holder. Again, it's not a huge deal, but it makes taco Tuesdays a whole lot easier and less messy for me. So. Perhaps having this taco holder is significant.
I got a cut on one of them. It's time to return them! There are a lot of sharp edges on these. When I first used one, I cut my finger on it while attempting to hand wash it! I wouldn't let my kids use them at all!.
These are delicious and perfect for making Keto Cheese Tacos at home. I simply microwave the sliced cheese until it's melted (about 65 seconds), then remove it with a spatula and drape it over one of the "V's" to form a taco shape. When it's cool enough to handle, I flip it over and add the toppings, and these holders keep everything together until we're ready to eat. WASH WITH YOUR HANDS! I'd never use the dishwasher for these.
They perform admirably. We bought two sets because they were so cheap and so we could serve tacos to guests. They're long-lasting, sanitary, and dishwasher-safe. They have nicely rounded corners and no metal burrs on the edges, but the edges are still fairly sharp (as is to be expected), so we handle them with care. We've already put them to good use. My concern is that they can't be 304 stainless steel because a magnet sticks to them so well. I'm not sure how well they'll hold up to rusting over time, so I'll try to keep them as dry as possible and hope for the best.
We were pleasantly surprised by the heavy-duty metal for the price, and we especially like that one side serves two tacos but can be used for three tacos if you flip it over. It's so simple to clean and wipe down. There's no need to wash them.

These are really cool, and I think they're a good idea. They're made of stainless steel, which means they won't tarnish or stain. My only gripe is that one of them had to be deburred. There was a razor-sharp edge on the table that could have cut someone. It took only a few minutes to remove with a file. The issue has been resolved. Its clever design allows it to hold two or three shells by simply turning it over. Clever.
In comparison to the other brands available on Amazon, I was expecting mediocre grade/weight stainless steel for this low of a price. Before I buy anything, I spend hours researching and comparing products. Seriously, it's a disaster! I was initially drawn to the more expensive brands because of the numerous positive reviews, but because these will only be used occasionally, I chose what I thought was a better price for a thinner metal. WRONG! These are exceptionally well-made: For easy cleanup, use stainless steel with smooth edges and a simple design. storage. I'm going to order a few more sets! Now that we have restaurant-quality taco holders, we'll be having taco bar margarita nights!.
