To keep tortillas warm at the table, use the tortilla warmer. Keep your tortillas refrigerated in their original packaging. I'm not sure why you'd want to keep them in the refrigerator. If you're not sure, give it a shot and see if it meets your needs.

Tortilla Warmer is one of my favorites. It's ideal for our taco gatherings. It has a capacity of twenty flour tortillas. I'm going to buy another so I can have one for flour and one for corn. I preheated the oven, then grilled all of the tortillas before placing them in the hot tortilla warmer. After taking it out of the oven and putting warmed tortilla shells into it, place a napkin or paper towel in the bottom first to keep it warm. It helps to keep the bottom shell from sticking to the ground.
This tortilla warmer is one of my favorite kitchen gadgets. In my kitchen, the bright colors make me happy. It appeared to be quite large in the photos, and I was worried that it wouldn't fit where I wanted it to go, but it's actually quite small. I placed the Mission tacos in the middle of the table. sized tortillas in, and they *just* fit if I put one in at a time; it can hold an entire 10-inch tortilla. If you try to fit a stack of clumped tortillas in, it will appear that they won't fit. This thing also works well as a tortilla keeper because it keeps my tortillas nice and fresh. I'd purchase it again.
The colors on this warmer were extremely vibrant when I first received it. The colors haven't faded even after being washed, which is fantastic. Because this is ceramic, it can get hot, especially if you microwave it, so I have to remove them with a pot holder. I've even used it to keep freshly made tortillas warm, and they do indeed stay nice and warm. The instructions say to put something on the bottom, such as a napkin, so the tortillas don't stick, but I just use an old dish rag that I used to keep tortillas in. Now I have this, and I use that old rag to place on the bottom when they're fresh off the stove. This warmer will keep tortillas warm as long as the lid is completely closed. When you lift the lid, you can see the steam, so take care when removing them. Easy to clean, but the instructions state that it can be washed in the dishwasher, but the bottom sticker states that it should only be washed by hand. I only wash it by hand, and it still looks fantastic.
Due to the fact that I have not yet used this product, please bear with me as I give this rating for two reasons. br>br>The first reason is that The dish came with a seal on the bottom that stated that it should only be washed by hand. It also had a sticker on top of the seal that stated the same thing. It's dishwasher safe, according to the box and the above description. The dish is made of ceramic and can be washed in the dishwasher. When I opened it, I threw it in the wash, but I'm annoyed that it has a stamp on it that says "hand wash only. " Reason number two: This is the most important of them all - The lid isn't sitting flush with the surface. I used images to illustrate what I'm talking about. The edges don't line up, allowing the white to show through and, more importantly, a gap. Of course, I could carefully align the edges of the top, but let's face it, no one has time for that when cooking for an army! In its current state, this product will not function as intended. br>br>Despite my reservations, I decided to keep it because the product was just as lovely as it had been described. I plan to locate a sealing ring in order for the top to properly seat. It is dishwasher safe, after all, and who looks at the bottom of a dish anyway? br>br>I'm guessing that whether the lid will seat is a matter of luck. Best of luck with your purchases. br>br>UPDATE: br>br> I only gave it one star because I couldn't get the gasket to work. I thought I could live with the lid ajar, but I can't use it because it's ajar. I've given the item back to you. The cost of returning it was $20. I'm furious, but it was well worth it to get something useless out of my house! Because I'm only getting $5 back, I could have saved myself the trouble and thrown it away. This is the worst item I've ever bought.
The lid does not fit evenly on this lovely warmer. The first warmer came with a lid that was VERY ill-fitting. I returned it and received a replacement from Amazon. (It arrived the next day after I submitted the request--thank you, Amazon!) The replacement arrived, but the lid does not fit properly either. I'm keeping it because I'm cooking for my family tonight and I'll need a warmer. It's just a shame to have such a lovely warmer with an obvious flaw. It still warms tortillas, but I'm not happy with the quality of the workmanship.
Do you despise making fresh tortillas only to have them cool before you can finish the rest of the batch? I needed to locate a non-alcoholic beverage. Keeper for tortillas made of plastic. I'm not sure why they're so difficult to come by. However, this keeps my tortillas warm for at least another 10 minutes. I haven't tried leaving them in there for very long yet, but it seems to work well so far and is simple to clean. br>br>Can also be used to make pancakes!.
This warmer has a lot of visual appeal, and the bright colors go with a lot of different table settings. It can also be used as a serving bowl that is covered. It can be microwaved and washed in the dishwasher, but it cannot be used as a casserole in the oven.
I believe it's due to the lid handle's cleverly designed vent hole. br>Gave it four stars, though I wanted to give it five because the white interior coating appeared to be missing a spot. It's slightly pitted, which is fine, but there's a tiny spot on the bottom where there's no glaze and it's brown instead of white. Although it continues to function, seeing it bothers me.
