Despite its plastic appearance, the cup is made from wood.
The strainer worked great for me in making the gravy since I always mess it up at Thanksgiving! In addition to a baster and a brush, it comes with this set!

It is very good quality to use Turkey basters. This was purchased so that I could separate oil from stock when I cooked chicken in my Instant Pot. When I browned hamburger meat in my cast iron pan for the first time, I used it to separate the oil from the meat. When I bought the farm, it was 80% lean, so I had to separate a lot of stock. As I filled the pot, I tried to keep as little meat from going through the strainer as possible, but there were still some very fine pieces that found their way into the pot. Even when the button was fully pressed, no stock flowed through to separate, as it had been accumulated enough to clog the bottom. There was disappointment in my heart. Having a finer mesh filter at the top would have made a big difference. For the next time I do it, I will need some cheesecloth in the strainer to keep it from blocking. If it were up to me, I would have given this a higher rating, and I may do so after using it further. While I have not used my turkey baster yet, I am very pleased with the high quality of it. The price alone would have been enough to convince me to pay it. A great value for the money.
This is what I've used so far on milk that I get from a local farm to separate the heavy cream. In order to make butter and cream cheese, I use this cream, and it is so much easier than spooning it out. I also have the ability to gather more cream than I would have otherwise been able to do with a spoon. In addition to separating grease from beef and chicken stocks, I used this method as well.
I like the separator because it's very basic and is of good quality. Honestly, I like the way it drains, but I recommend that you put it on a plate or something when you're finished or it would Due to the postal service's mishandling of the first one, I had to order a second When I got my second one I'd been incredibly busy & I was just starting out with my own enterprise Thanksgiving is just around the corner, so I just pulled it out. Upon further reflection, it did not come with a baster, brush, or cleaning liquid It is the tip of the injector. As of this writing, I do not know how to contact the seller except to hope they respond. I am not satisfied with the manner in which it has been handled, I will be returning it & asking for compensation. In order to have in time for Thanksgiving, I ordered from another seller. Keep my fingers crossed for them to do the right thing.
It took me a long time to spoon away the water that separates from the tomato as it thaws. that I've found this, I'm using it. In this case, the water forms on top of the spaghetti sauce (just like drippings) and when I press the button, the sauce comes out without I love it!.
I had one that was a different brand. Instead of replacing the old one with one of the same type, I am really glad I chose this one. There is no comparison between this and the original one and the turkey baster is beyond compare.
In the past 15 years, I have owned many separators, but this is by far my favorite. The system is easy to use, maintain, and clean. As a result, you will leave behind just pure liquid after you have removed the fat. I find it incredible that the broth or liquid flows out of the bottom and the fat stays at the top. There is a guarantee that you will get fat-free broth or liquid because you don't have to tip like with some There is no doubt that this is the easiest method.
Having used it half a dozen times, I have found it to be very useful. The ability to separate the fat from the good drippings of the barbecue is a great asset to me.
You might wind up with gravy and broth all over your kitchen counter if you forget to check!.
