Questions & Answers
It doesn't say one way or the other, and I haven't tried it in the microwave yet. On both the plate and the gravey bowl, there are no metal edgings or decorations.
It cleans up easily in the dishwasher. I'm guessing everything is fine.
It was given to my daughter as a present, so it isn't on display. 2-, in my opinion. 3 cups.

The bottom of the ladel that sits in the food is unglazed! It is protected from the lead and other ingredients in the ceramic slip by a glaze. The unglazed section may contain toxins that you are absorbing. That's terrible. br>br> br>br>Apart from that, it's a fantastic design. It appears to be attractive.
Amazon is here to help! This is a lovely large gravy boat that serves its purpose admirably. You won't have to worry about dripping with the bottom saucer because it will catch everything. Despite the fact that the bottom piece is attached, the unit is still very cleanable. I was worried that gravy would get into the space where the saucer connects to the bowl, but there's actually plenty of room to wipe it down. br>The spoon is a little small in comparison to the bowl, but this isn't a big deal. br>My only gripe is that there is a pin-hole in the middle of the table. In the scoop of the ladle, make a black dot inside the glaze. I spent some time cleaning it before realizing it was stained underneath the glaze. Even though it's not visible when making gravy, I still find myself scrubbing and wiping it away. It's just a little irritating. br>Apart from that, it's a fantastic dish!.
The gravy boat is great, but the packaging is terrible. As with previous reviews, the gravy boat saucer arrived broken. I'm not returning it because I was only interested in the gravy boat, but a matching saucer would have been nice. The gravy boat is a classic white color and is large enough to not need to be refilled several times before it reaches all the way around the table. If the terrible packaging hadn't resulted in a broken product, I would have given it five stars.
A boat with a lot of room. The styling is very elegant and classic. One ceramic piece serves as both the bowl and the dish/platter. The bowl, on the other hand, is not in the center of the plate. Because they're all one piece, it's a bit confusing. The ladle is also a good size, with a deep bowl and a comfortable handle. The spoon's bottom base and the bottom side of the handle at the tip, however, are both missing glaze. I've added some images.
Because most gravy boats only hold a small amount of sauce or gravy, you'll need to use several and refill them frequently. This gravy boat can hold a lot more while also looking stylish. br>I gave it as a gift, and the recipient was very pleased with it. It has a lovely shape that goes well with table settings.
The style with the plate attached to the bowl appealed to me the most because it makes passing the plate around the table and catching all drips so much easier. This one is ideal: it's made of good quality white porcelain, goes with any decor, and holds a lot of gravy - There are more than 2 cups in this set, and it comes with a matching ladle. Instead of putting up with my chipped version for all these years, I wish I had ordered this sooner. It meets all of my requirements.
I believe that gravy boat holds a quart, but I was under the impression that I had ordered a larger one. Growing up in an eight-person family, that gravy boat would have had to be refilled several times, and there was never enough room on the table for two gravy boats. My mother was notorious for getting up in the middle of a meal to replenish a vegetable dish, get more butter, or refill glasses. When I ordered it, I wanted a L A R G E gravy boat and wished it had been larger. The shape was strange as well, squat in some ways. It would be ideal for a four- or five-person family.
The gravy boat is much larger than I expected. When we get together, we have a large family. This reduces the number of trips needed to get more gravy! This is a lovely piece that would look great with either china or everyday dishes. It appears to be well-made and is a good size for my boys' hands!.
