Yes, that's what I would say. Despite the fact that I had four regular-sized cupcakes and lemon bars on my plate, there was still plenty of room on top. A cake usually fits into the base just fine if it is larger than six inches, but if it is larger than that, the cake may overlap a bit.

We fit 48 cupcakes and a 2-tier cake in the cake stand. I found it quite straightforward to assemble and quite sturdy considering the cake was quite A blue LED light was placed under the base and it came up through the rods supporting the base. My presentation looked so much better because of this!.
For the glow party my son had, I did the same thing. We got it right the first time!! It is so great that I bought it. The bottom tier had flat disk lights on top and the top tier had flat disk lights on the bottom to make the whole thing very bright. There were a lot of people at the party who liked it. There are some who thought I bought a cupcake tier with lights. "My hack" is all I told them. Once more, thanks a lot!.
There's a lot more to this than what it appears. For wedding cupcakes, I managed to fit 36 regular cupcakes. The good news is I am quite happy with the result. I like how it looks so stylish and how sturdy it is. After reading some reviews that said it was not sturdy enough for my purposes, I bought the one without the base instead. Due to the small legs being rather close to the center, I'm able to see how that one would not be as sturdy. The problem I had with this one was non-existent. After all the cupcakes were on the table, we even moved it across the room, but it would not move.
I was very satisfied with the packaging and the size of the package. All 100 desserts will fit in both! I purchased two of these, and I really love them! I'll make sure to take pictures on the big day! It wasn't difficult to assemble and I can't wait to use it on my wedding day! BREAKING UPDATE We had no problems at all on our big day. The stands were a great complement to the mini cupcakes and pies we served at the reception.
