It is a beautiful piece of art I have been serving in all my parties. This has been a very expensive meal for my guests.
As for the hardware, I bought this intending to replace it with better hardware from Cake Stand Cottage on Etsy, so that is no problem. The item does not come with assembly instructions, but it should be assembled as follows I just received the hardware from Cake Stand Cottage on Etsy and it is just wonderful! There is no wobbling left on my cake stand.

It was what I expected and a good product. We plan on using it for tea parties, baby/bridal showers, and the like. I did not find instructions in the box that explained how to assemble it. As I was just about to purchase another similar product that did have instructions, I just followed the same steps that I did when I assemble the other tiered plate. The kit does include a plastic/foam type washer that is supposed to be placed underneath and on each plate containing the screws. Because the washer looked funny on top of the plate, I opted to only use it underneath the Despite the fact that this would be a good purchase again, I wish the instructions were included. Despite having a 5 star rating, I'm giving this a 4 since instructions are lacking.
My sister bought one for her baby shower, and another hostess did the same. With desserts arranged on them, they looked stunning on the table. It is sturdy ceramic, very beautiful to look at. Although I didn't assemble it, I heard it was a little confusing, but I found it to be fine (no instructions). I would certainly recommend this item and will purchase another one in the future.
The hat was bent at the bottom, but it could easily be reshaped by adding a little weight on one side to straighten it. In the future, I will tone down the silver coated part so it doesn't look too shiny (like plastic toys).
They are very sturdy when you put a lot of weight on them, however.
