Taking it on a picnic or during a trip is very convenient.

A small outer package protects the inside of the tea set from damage, and the outer package is small in size.

It is not recommended to put small tea tins in tea as ensuring the quality of tea requires specific packaging and temperature regimes.

Questions & Answers

The teapot is on the stovetop, is it safe to use?

No indication of this is made on the set and I would not trust that to be the case. Boiling my water separately, then pouring it into a ceramic pot with tea leaves or tea bags, is how I go about it. It does not seem like the ceramic teapot was meant to be heated up on the stovetop.

In regard to the individual cups and pots, how much liquid does each hold?

Approximately 2 oz. of liquid fits into the cups, while 10 oz. of liquid fits into the pot. Please keep in mind that the set was mostly designed for decor and is not meant to be used as everyday tools.
