The teapot can definitely be heated directly on the stove if you want to prepare tea. It is one of the items I use every day since I bought it a few weeks ago. It has always been on the stove burner that I have heated the teapot. There is a gas range in my kitchen. I even use my teapot to heat water for my husband's A rapid increase in temperature is noticeable. There is a lot of heat in the handle of the teapot for a few minutes at least. In my experience, this has not been an issue since I just move the pot from the stovetop to my counter with an oven mitt, and the handle has cooled down by the time my tea is finished.
The teapot is a favorite of mine, and I prefer to use it after removing the metal parts to heat the water in the microwave. It is easy to get the water to a rolling boil and the glass is extremely hot, so there is no need to lower the temperature of the water. If you use a tea cozy and pad underneath, it will stay warm as well.
When you remove the infuser, you do not have to remove the lip of the teapot through which the infuser fits, but the lid does not fit without the lip left in place. I really like it
It appears to be true as I have used tealites on my gas stovetop while it is not in use on my electric range.

I was told by my husband when I bought it that it would not last, it would eventually crack, My mood is pretty depressing right now. My fault might have been letting it boil too long, perhaps I failed to pay attention. As there is no whistle to alert you when the water is ready, this tea pot shouldn't be left boiling for too long. It also needs to be supervised since the water shouldn't be left boiling for too long. The review has been reduced from 5 stars to 2 stars for these reasons. I just received my teapot and I am totally in love with Although I wish it were larger, I did not realize how small it was. I really like it though. The handle doesn't get hot while using it, so I hope it stays durable. I also want to mention that it hasn't caused me any problems, so hopefully it lasts. Reviews said it did from what I read. There has been a lot of heat left on the pot longer than it needs to be. There is a little bit of disappointment that there is no whistle on the tea kettle, but I guess it's Whenever I have a problem with durability, I'll update this post.
I had to call three different numbers to get warranty support. There is no person to speak with, and no email address with which to contact them. Also, no one ever reads the online support form. A form that is supposed to be used for warranty purposes. Totally waste of time and No one will ever recommend this to you!.
This product has never caused me any issues during my daily use. Several years of use resulted in a cracked surface. My new one does not match my old one, even after I ordered a new YAY, for a small opening, it takes a long time for the tea to be poured. In addition to the handle getting hot, this model also has a hot puck. Also, it is hard to clean the lid when it is attached. There were several design changes I would have preferred not to see. This is not what I like at all, so I might look for something else instead.

I started seeing burn marks on the glass after using it on the stovetop since it's thin, doesn't conduct heat well, and not well insulated. Using hot water shouldn't be done with it As with the previous example, the glass is very thin and shatters There is no way these reviews can be genuine and this product is terrible.
Initially, I was worried about the fragility of this gorgeous glass item, but I think it would be worth it to own it. This product is everything I was looking for in a water bottle--it is not as delicate as it appears in the picture, it is sturdy enough for everyday use, and I am particularly pleased with the fact that it does not leak. My teapot is a great buy, and I may pick up another one just in case this one should break. Please note P. There is one very nice feature of this product that I forgot to mention * the handle doesn't get hot even when it's boiling hot. This can be removed from the heat without the use of a hot pad. What a great idea!.
I am so devastated. Including this teapot in my collection was a real treat. The device broke after only 3 months of use, having been used maybe three or four times a week. It's a pity I wasn't able to find durable products.

It's great that this teapot works! My teapot pours tea better than any other I have Neither before nor after the pour, there is no dripping from the spout. A small hand or a big hand can comfortably use this design. If you use the included twelve ounce cup, you can easily make four cups of tea with this teapot. In any case, I highly recommend this teapot and would certainly buy it again!.
