Glass is not used in making this. do not have any information about whether it is free of BPA. Thanks a lot.
The glass ones were first purchased, but I did not like how thin the glass is, and the glass has a glass bottom, while the plastic has a metal bottom. A downside is that the stain from the coffee is next to impossible to remove from the plastic. The inside has begun to appear like it has been burned by coffee after a few uses. In my opinion, it doesn't necessarily have to do with taste it's just a persistent problem. Although I use plastic over the glass, I do not usually eat out of it.
It does get in contact with the coffee, and yes it does. In my opinion, Prop 65 is so exhaustive and inexact that I would NEVER use it to make a decision. This makes tool will help you make.

Buying cheap junk for a lot of money! I think this decanter is very poorly made and looks very A thin plastic covering is present and there are seams on the front and Additionally, the handle is molded into the seam and I am unsure if it will be secure for an extended period of time. On that note, there are no references to whether this decanter is BPA-free in the paperwork (dated 1988) or on the Bunn website. Unlike the pictures, the bottom of the metal is not shiny, nor does it appear to be nice This inexpensive bottle is made of much higher quality than my Update brand of decanter, but it leaking around the top since it is old. My expectation was that the Bunn brand would be better, but I was I have already packed it up to return it tomorrow as soon as I received it. The price of 1 Easy Pour is cheaper than three Update pots. As an alternative, I am thinking of purchasing a glass decanter for $13 instead.
The BUNN 13300 is a recent purchase of mine. This is the VP17 coffee maker 001. The unit is constructed of stainless steel of a high standard. Aside from its hatch cover and funnel, it is made entirely of stainless steel. Since I didn't like the plastic used in the other coffeemaker I'd had in the past, I purchased this one because it was the one shown in the illustration of the coffee maker. It looked neat to see the stainless steel bottom in the illustration, but actually the pot shown is plastic rather than The description and customer reviews of this product weren't good enough, so I bought it without carefully reading them. In the end, I bought the glass pot and simply use the plastic one as a spare pot or for guests that are extra. I did not think it was right to buy an all stainless machine to eliminate the plastic taste from the coffee but then have the coffee drip into a plastic cup. Thus, this pot does not appeal to me personally. It is certainly convenient to use a plastic pot so you don't break glass pots if you are inclined to break them. There have been a couple of reviews mentioning leaks between the plastic and the stainless steel base of the plastic pot. It is rare for me to use mine, so I have not experienced this issue. As a final note, I am giving this product a two-star rating to help those of you considering purchasing a stainless steel Bunn to avoid tasting plastic in your coffee, and it is not an attempt to degrade the overall quality or convenience of this product.
When I first saw it, I thought it was glass and saw the stainless steel bottom and thought it would keep my coffee hot. In contrast to the old bunn containers, it is not designed in the same way. As I was searching for a bunn container to keep my coffee hot, I was looking for models that sat fully on the warmer plate and did not leave any space to sit on the newer ones. As a spare, I will use this one. Coffee does not stay hot in this cup!.
THERE WAS PLASTIC IN MY PACKAGE. The box was returned to me immediately after I opened it.
This is what has so far happened. To go along with my VP17 coffee maker, I have had this decanter for three months now. The product is fine. I did not read the reviews carefully enough when I bought it, so I thought it was glass. The glass ones I have broken in the past were much more fragile. I like that it is much more durable now. It's a bit difficult to clean the inside of the machine because the opening isn't big enough to fit a hand into, unlike many of the el cheapo ones you see for cheap coffee machines, but there have been no complaints so far. A drop will never spill out when it is poured. It was noted in some reviews that it has a leak where the metal and plastic meet. To my knowledge, I have not experienced this problem. *** Update from Sept 2015 *** ***Over 1 year now and this piece continues to thrive! I have not encountered any Make use of it every day.
Even though it does its job and is better than the generic ones, eventually the seal leaks like every other type of similar seal. It may not be a good idea for you to use this if your office has a no-glass policy or if you tend to drop your A brief update The aircraft was placed into service on July 30, The leak in the seal has been getting worse lately, and the seal will be removed shortly. This lasted a year and a half. Ten pots of coffee are consumed each week by our staff. About ten minutes after it has been brewed, the coffee is ready to be served It was then poured into a carafe and left for 20 minutes. The coffee pot in this office took longer to heat than most pots did. 1 pot of coffee per week may sit on the warmer for an extended period of time.
When you have tile floors or cats, the only pot you need to use with a Bunn Commercial is this. There is actually a bounce to them! It doesn't matter if these hit tile once or twice -- 4 or 5 times is enough to remove their cost.
