There was none of that with this- Our initial reaction when we saw the picture was- I love it and we do too.

I love the teapot, it has a generous amount of capacity and it's made in England. The design is lovely.
The bottle is always full to the brim. There is no "button" on the top to lift the lid off, which makes it a little awkward. However, I enjoy the Portmerion pattern the most.
