Mudpie items have just recently come to my attention (like a week ago) and I am in love with the chic antique appeal they add It is only the ceramic lip that seals the sugar jar, not a rubber gasket. The hat is very well made and very cute. Also, it came packaged very well (wrapped in bubble wrap, then wrapped in brown paper inside a box and placed inside another box).

It is almost impossible to buy anything in a home other than that which is made in China with specifications from Design Company, so almost everything in a home is made in China.
