Questions & Answers

What is the origin of this product? Whether or not you are from this country, where are you from? Thanks so much. ?

No information appears to be available about whether these are made in France, China, or the USA. They describe it as made in France. I bought mine from Sur La Table. It is exactly the same but has a slightly different name. Because I usually want to buy things from the United States instead of It's kind of confusing to me right now, but I know that Lumnarc/Arc International is a big company probably having manufacturing outlets around the world.

Can you tell me if the lid is BPA-free?

It's not clear to me. A literature review did not find any reference to this. The liquid is only in contact with the glass container for a few seconds as it passes through the lid when it is poured. I am anti BPA, but I am not worried that this slight contact is relevant, as long as there is no BPA present The plastic lids are not as much of a problem now that I use only glass food storage. Heat is the real danger when it comes to plastics. Chemical additives can be vaporized and enter the food through this process. neither microwaving nor leaving the containers outside in the sun are recommended. The pitcher I have here is good.

From the bottom of the lid to the base, how high is it? The top opening is 4 inches in diameter. What is the diameter of that ?

An opening of 3 inches is at the top. It is just a little over 4 1/2 inches from the bottom of the lid to the top of the jar when closed. There are 6 inches between the lip and the top of the jar. I hope you find that helpful.

Do you think this pitcher could be microwaved?

The top does not need to be covered when microwaved. Suitable for kids of all ages, this pitcher pours beautifully.

The presentation is well In the vicinity I just want to clarify what seems to be a source of confusion before I get into the review (glass) is a French product, and it is made in France
5/5

A plastic lid (made in China) is used on the box. As a matter of fact, this is not uncommon. I used to have an old 64oz pitcher for my wife's iced tea, but it took up too much room in the fridge & wasn't easy to carry around When full, she could not easily pour because the bottle was too heavy. Her favorite is this glass because of how lightweight it is and how smooth it is Approximately 8 oz less liquid is held by the container, resulting in a lighter overall weight. Nevertheless, it means that I will have to make her iced tea a bit earlier than usual. Furthermore, I can store two of these in about the same amount of space taken up by the old 64oz pitcher, thanks to the rectangular shape. far as the lid is concerned Ice and snow just wait there for a bit because that's what it does If you pour, you will see chunks of fruit. There was no intention to make it leak or spill-proof I'll prove it. You should look for a container with a twist-on locking lid if you need that. A temperature limit of 60°C only means the plastic will melt when it gets hot enough. Since I don't plan to cook in this, this isn't an issue for me. In the warning inscribed on the bottle, it advised not to change the temperature larger than 140°C, so if you just took it out of the freezer, do not use boiling water on it. The temperature of the room when it boils is around 75 degrees It won't be damaged by boiling water under normal usage, as the temperature differs by 80°. There are two of them & two of them are & I am thinking about getting a third one to store cold milk so my wife will have an easier time pouring.

This is the best tea to make iced tea with
5/5

There's a handle on the side, not just an indented section on the side, so the box is well balanced when empty. There are no super thick thick heavy glasses in it My body is old so I can lift it with one hand when it's full.
It's around the size of a milk carton, but is skinny, so it takes up little room in the refrigerator. You can pour boiling water into it to make iced tea, or use it to make juice To use 3 tea bags, place 3 in a cup. With a lid that is easy to put on and take off, it's easy to complete the task. This is a highly recommended book!.

It is best to be careful/remorseful when purchasing
3/5

When opened, this jar is recommended for storing dairy, since it is a good container for storing milk. I bought this product for two reasons one, it was glass. Two, I wanted a lid that could seal the product so I could store it in the refrigerator. Getting a nasty mess if the lid is on and the container is tilted is no big deal when it doesn't seal at all. No matter which way you turn it, no matter which direction you look, the lid is as if it didn't exist As you can see, the inside of the lid is made of a cheap plastic, which by the looks of it is unlikely to last. I would not even purchase this at half the price since it only serves one.

Suitable for Montessori children who are learning how to pour themselves As part of our water science project, I bought this for my 3 year old son to learn how to pour water by himself
5/5

I can easily grasp the handle with his little hands and pour with ease since it's just the right size and weight for him. Pouring is easy since the lid stays in place when poured. The pitcher has a sturdy construction, and fitting the lid is easy. The pitcher is strong enough to withstand my son's not so gentle placement methods, especially since the glass is thick and thick enough to support that. You can't go wrong with this purchase.

Bottles like these are great for liquids of any kind
5/5

In the past, I used plastic containers for storing water in the refrigerator until recently, when I purchased two of these containers. Bottles like these are great for liquids of any kind. Especially with the design of the handle, these are lightweight and easy to This opening is wide, which makes filling easy. The tops remain in place and can be turned easily to fit whatever type of opening is requested. A number of people have reported staining and leakage issues with some of the tops. I noticed leakage only when I tilted the bottle to pour and did not completely turn the top to the open area. If it leaks, it can cause serious damage. You can stain clothes with just about anything you put in them. Anything made of plastic will stain if it comes into contact with liquid. The fact that it is inevitable cannot be avoided. My recommendation is to anyone who is interested in these.

If you get a genuine one, that would be nice

So, I guess. This pitcher can be found in a major brick and mortar store that sells things for particular rooms of the house at a reduced price. Evidently, there are some sellers who think it is cool to purchase this fake and then sell it as a A fake is the one with a "made in China" sticker and chinese text included in the paper insert. The odds of you getting one made in the USA or France might be better if you buy the device directly from Amazon.

Seals do not form on the cap
3/5

There is nothing in the neck of a pitcher other than air. My grandmother in Oregon sent me this postcard on March 24, 2017. . .

The cap does not seal anything. It floats on top of the I rate this picture one star for multiple reasons, but it is not the quart that is normally this price, which will usually be offered at this price. The worst thing about the pitcher is that the lid does not seal anything. . . it is just an oversize piece of plastic that floats within the collar. The cap had to be wrapped in Saran wrap to prevent leaking when moving it from one place to another in a Because the picture of the cap is useless, I would like to give this a zero. The ideal thing to do is to take it completely out, rather than swivel it to open it. It is not advisable to have liquid leaking out of all the corners of the It is also possible to find it for less than half of the price elsewhere, but I do not think it is worth it.

It's nice how this little pitcher turned out
4/5

This is the pitcher I use for whipped cream or a “half and half” My milk-half-and-half pitcher (I mix milk and half-and-half in it It takes an egg and a half to make There are both good and bad things about the lid- There is no tightness, but it is easy to take off. It doesn't even occur to me to look at the lid to see which way it is pointing No matter which way you look at it, it pours. There is an option to turn it completely closed, but it would be nice to have. The material is at least fairly durable - The one I dropped on the floor of the kitchen when I was removing it from bubble wrap did not break. For less than $10 (I have Amazon Prime and paid less than $10), I think it is worth the price.
