You have a good point. So as not to break it in the dishwasher, perhaps handwash it only. It has been put in the dishwasher without a problem.
It has a top opening of 4 to 3 7/8 inches. It funnels in a little bit below the handle at its smallest point, about 3 1/2 to 3 3/4 inches. This is my third order of the pitchers and they are excellent.
A lid is not included with this
The lid does not come with it. Despite its beauty, it is still very interesting.

Although it is not suitable for iced tea, you can use it for other beverages. My kitchen counters, cabinets and floor are covered in almost 2 liters of hot tea after the glass popped and cracked. I spent 20 minutes cleaning it up. Now I am back to my unattractive Rubber Maid pitcher, but at least I am not in the muck I was in earlier. The feature that has a slight disadvantage is the lack of a cover on this pitcher. Rather than for storing (or even making) hot drinks, it is more for serving than storing. To that end, the pitcher's description did not specify if the pitcher was intended for serving hot liquids or whether its cover was removable. In any case, if the makers had mentioned a limit on the temperature, it would have saved me this "experiment". It is my hope that this review can help.
I have searched and searched for the best pitcher I could find, and believe me, I have tried a lot of them. The Turkey-made glass pitcher I use on a daily basis is excellent. I've owned just about every glass pitcher out there. The glass is thick and the handle is good. The product is of high quality. This container does not drip when it is poured, and the bottom is flat so it does not The container holds 1/2 gallon of liquid if it is filled up to the point where the spout is. In no way does this affect the pouring or cause it to drip. You should use this pitcher only for cold or warm liquids, and not for hot liquids. But, that is standard on any transparent glass pitcher, not just this one. Plastic Wrap is cheap and more sanitary than washing a lid and is used to cover the Pitcher.
Because of the higher price, I chose my second choice instead of the design I preferred. It was not worth paying more for a prettier design only. BUT,
. Having been an artist, designer, and a nitpicky cleaner, I am a little picky about things being AS CLEAN as possible. It is the design of the inside bottom of this pitcher that I absolutely detest. Here is a photo of the pitcher inside. After going down, the sides open up slightly at the bottom and flare out at the very top. Consequently, there is a thin ring of mold around the entire base that must be meticulously My belief is that a dishwasher would not be able to clean it. Your sponge or cleaning cloth must go into the crevice at the bottom of the pan and around the edges of the crevice to be effective. I believe you will have to wash it by hand and do the work diligently.
Having a large family dictates serving ice water at the dinner table, so our pitcher needed to be large. We first bought the first one from Amazon. It was large and worked well, but it cracked around the collar after just a few months of regular We are quite happy about this second attempt it has been 6 months since our first. The pros are As is true for many pitchers, the shape of the spout does not cause the water to spill when you do so quickly. Depending on how fast you pour, you can also choose whether ice will come out of the pitcher, or remain in the pitcher. I like the way it looks and how it's strong.
Cons The handle is rather small and light for the size and weight of the pitcher, as noted in other reviews. Even though it's not a huge deal, I'd find it more comfortable if there were more to grab when the pitcher was.
In response to my husband's suggestion, I needed to buy a glass iced tea pitcher since the one I was using a) was starting to get damaged and b) was made of acrylic, which may leach toxic material when filled with boiling hot water. The pros are The pitcher is the perfect size enough to make a full pitcher and even I cannot drain it The dishwashing machine can handle it. It looks good I could use it for a variety of parties. Building a solid foundation Despite the fact that it's glass, it is not flimsy or thin enough that I am worried about accidentally cracking it. Despite the price increase, the price remains a good deal. Cons So far, I've not encountered any.
There is no better deal than this for the price. A party I was having called for a glass pitcher so that I could use it with Sangria. I thought it was fantastic and it worked out well.
The pitcher was purchased as part of my effort to reduce my consumption of plastic and save money at the same time. So far, I have only used it for cold drinks, so I cannot speak for how well it holds up to hot drinks or boiling water, but to my knowledge, it seems to be working fine. My dishwasher has not cracked it as a result of washing it. I can put it on my dinner table and it looks elegant. There is only one downside to it It does not have a lid, so I cover it with plastic wrap in the fridge if I have unfinished drinks. The whole experience has been great. I am extremely In addition to its affordability, it is functional and aesthetically pleasing.
I find it very pretty and sturdy at the same time. The serving tray is not only useful for beverages, but it also shows off some stunning sunflowers right now on my dining room table. Originally I thought it would make a great vase, but when a guest brought sunflowers, it is the perfect size! It really looks like a smattering of expensive crystal.
