They're ideal for taking to the river because they don't require the use of beer salt or limes. I'm so glad these are back in stock; all you have to do is stick one on your can and you've got your salt and lime.
I'm not writing to slam this product. I just wanted to leave a genuine review for those considering purchasing these. These were a letdown for me. I was extremely disappointed. They're supposed to be beer salt strips, but they're way too salty. The lime flavor is very sour, and it's just caked in salt. It's sour to the point of being inedible. We frequently use beer salt, but these were far too much for us, and I am a huge fan of salt. Start with one pouch if you want to give them a try. I made the mistake of buying this five-pack with the intention of sharing it with our beer salt fans. br>I wouldn't recommend these to anyone after trying them. That's how bad they are.
The concept is great, but once you get your hands on this product, the salt doesn't taste fresh at all, it's bland, and it stings your tongue after the first few licks. I went back to using a beer salt container, hoping that someone else will perfect the idea with a higher-quality product. It just tastes cheap.
I really wanted to like this product because there's nothing like lime and salt with a cold beer on a hot summer day! The strip, unfortunately, does not remain in place. It was fine for the first couple of ships, but then it hung off the side of my can and never came back. And don't even get me started on the glass shards. as if it were salt on your tongue! It looked like something from an ancient torture chamber. Although the concept is intriguing, I am only able to give it two stars. Disappointed, I'm going back to my old salt and lime routine!.
It was tasty for the first few licks, but by the time I finished my beer, it had developed a starchy flavor. Buying in bulk is definitely not worth it. I'll continue to use my beer salt shaker.
These are definitely salty. After a few licks, they're a little gross. Esp. If you're the one who has to wash the glasses or even prepare them for the dishwasher.
This was suggested to me by my best friend! They're incredible! I really like how the salt and lime flavor is consistent throughout the dish. That tends to stick to any bottle or can indefinitely. One strip lasts about three beers, according to my calculations. What a brilliant concept! Now I don't have to sprinkling salt all over myself, the table, and the rest of the house!.
These turned out to be satisfactory. I recently had to discard four unopened packs due to spoilage. They were housed in a climate-controlled room in our bar cabinet. It was embarrassing when I went to get a pack to show off to a friend. It was sticky, wet, and I couldn't get the strips off. When I got the main and individual packs, neither of them had an expiration date on them. They say on their website that if you return it within a year, they'll exchange it (NO REFUND). I'm not one of them, it seems. In less than a year, that's a lot of strips to go through, and the ones we did use were cut in half because - WOW- Oh well, it's a lot of salt. It was a waste of money. I won't be recommending this to anyone else.
