My original was sold on the site from where I bought it, but now they provide it with an overpriced and unnecessary jar, so I was delighted Although I did not want to pay for three, the amount of brown sugar I will save from not using three is worth it. Upon receiving it the first day it arrived, I ended up giving it away and I later found out in a packing insert that it also works well on The answer is yes! I love it! There is a choice between brown sugar and light brown sugar, regular raisins and golden raisins. It is likely that I'll end up buying more now. This might be of interest to you I say "go for it!" Especially with these additional applications, it is well worth the money.

Having soaked the disk for a short while in water, I patted it dry and placed it in the sugar container. In a short time it was just as fresh and soft as when I first bought it. It is a great product.
It was time for the new bag to go. Here are the two things I did I purchased an airtight brown sugar container and these disks to keep the sugar fresh. The brown sugar is still crumbly even after three months, and I can dip my spoon into the container for any use I desire. This is a disk you must try if you haven't already. As a final recommendation, I suggest an airtight container as well. It isn't enough to have one or the other for long-term storage. The best way to use up a fresh bag of brown sugar before having to throw it out and buy another is to use it more than once before throwing it away.

However, throughout the years the bread will dry out, and this results in hard lumps of sugar when I have to scoop it out. I'm a hero! I am very pleased with the moisture these disks have preserved in my brown sugar!.
