If you asked me to buy for $60, I would not. You can find items on the web that are very expensive. I don't know if that company charges a higher price
Yes, the lids are smaller, although in the description it doesn't say it only fits wavy 10 ounce cups. It would be helpful if the item was specifically marked as fitting 10 ounce cups, since I bought it three times thinking it would fit the standard 10 ounce cup
Sadly, I do not have the bigger cups, so I cannot help you
There's no problem with my straws, as they are just regular straws.

My choice of drink is a Tervis tumbler, which I carry everywhere I go. It wasn't long until I realized I could fit an acrylic straw in the regular lids and was on my way! Since I have been using my cups and bringing my beverage with me, I have saved so much money as compared to going through a drive-through and spending money on a drink I didn't need. Sadly, I have developed the horrible habit of spilling my Tervis cup contents. Usually, I spill the contents all over myself or in my purse as I do this when I am carrying my arms full and the cup is perilously wedged in between my upper arm and torso. After much contemplation, I decided that enough was enough and began searching for a lid that was actually designed for use as a Despite a couple of close calls since I bought this little walker, I have not accidentally spilled anything since purchasing it! In addition, I can fit just a bit more of my tasty beverage into the cup since the straw lid doesn't sit inside the cup like a traditional Tervis lid does. It's a win-win situation!.
In order to remove the lid yesterday, there was a few drops of liquid left in the tumbler, and when the lid finally came off, the liquid was You can do this if you are at home and can lean over the sink and remove the lid. I was out at a picnic where neither I nor my friends were too impressed. This is a new lid that I purchased from Amazon, but unless you only use it at home or in the kitchen, then it will be fine. I do not take mine out in public with this lid, but I use older types,.
We're not talking about a spill here- In the case of a leak The straw lid itself isn't a spill-proof lid, but if the cup falls over while wearing this lid, there is little chance it will spill. The travel lid sits so deeply inside the tumbler, you lose at least a couple ounces when you fill it, unlike the one that you can actually fill it. Thank you to the other reviewer who stated that this lid solved the same problem for him or her. I recommend it!.
The answer is yes! It has also been known to happen to me from time to time to knock over a cup, so I can also comment it stayed in place, but the liquid came out of The original lids did not hurt so badly, but the new ones were very easy to grasp & use Make sure the drink does not spill! The tops on these bottles will be replacing all of my lids! This is one of my favorites!.
Keeping it in place so it won't fall off easily If your kids or you knock it over, would you like it to spill all over the place. How about in the car in particular? The reason they do it this way is probably because that's the way they made it! The classic kind I like just as well as this one. I have another lid like this that has lasted a long time. I find both of them to be useful and appealing.
It happened to be a brand new, with the price tag still attached, 24oz Cherry Blossom Tervis tumbler at a second hand store for a tiny fraction of its original cost. It was missing a lid, but that was all. Rather than replacing the tumbler lid, I scooped the tumbler, then attempted ordering one online. I ordered the lid online and it came within a blink of an eye. After being so impressed with the Travel Lid, I also decided to order the Straw Lid. There are not enough words to describe its sturdiness when it comes to dealing with my deteriorating dexterity and its durability through each bounce that it takes. It also stays leak-proof throughout the entire ride. It wasn't the first time I'd seen them in stores. I was a little surprised at the price. After reading this, I totally understand it, and would do it without a second thought. Stacking these lids makes them easier to find than ones that have to be put in a drawer or cabinet. They make my heart sing just by being themselves!.
Using a straw makes cleaning and using the straw easier. Since replacing the standard lids with these straw lids, I have purchased them whenever necessary. My first experience with the lid leaking was this weekend. Several of the Tervis I have can be covered with your thumb so the straw hole can be covered, then filled with ice and shaken to make the water deliciously This particular lid leaks water out of the sides when I try that, and water drips down the outside of the bottle. I'm sure that was just a defective lid, since nothing physically differs. It's just not as tight as it used to be. My old lid was no longer sufficient so I switched to a new one.
I like this for the lid on the 2 year old cups. In my opinion, this should be an option on the 10 oz wavy cups for kids instead of being an Furthermore, you will need to obtain thick straws for the drink to be nearly leak-proof.
