The first question is: The lid (plastic part) is BPA free, according to line 3 of the description. It does not state that the straw is BPA-free. (It's simply a plastic straw), but the website claims that "all bubbas are BPA free." "br>br>In terms of a Yeti, it's a toss-up. My assessment (I have the basic SS model) is that it works fairly well. The quality of the construction is excellent. I dropped mine from the top of my SUV onto a concrete floor (nearly 6') while it was full, and it only has a small dent, as well as minor nicks and scratches from a year of constant use. What would a Yeti's chances be in such a situation? It's likely to be on par with, if not better than, the original. Is it worth three times as much as you think it is? For the price of one Yeti, I was able to get three of these. Other drawbacks: br>br> There isn't a single blemish on it. If you're looking for a proof lid (closeable opening) like the Yeti, look elsewhere. And, despite appearing to be identical, the 18 oz model is dishwasher safe, but the 24 oz model is not (body). It makes no difference because the 24 oz size is too tall for the top rack of my non-smoking refrigerator. In any case, there's an adjustable dishwasher.

I've been using mine every day for over two years and it's never sweated, but I don't use the lid, so perhaps that's the difference. This is a fantastic cup. After 12 hours, the ice is frequently still floating. It's been a long time since I've been so blown away by a product.

She had fun treats in the car, and we each had our own Bubba cup. I couldn't wait to get my own after that weekend, so I flew home. I purchased one from Walmart and ordered two more from Amazon. I'm stunned and dismayed that none of them can keep ice for more than four hours; how is it possible that all three failed from two different stores? I just ordered two from the Bubba website to compare, but I'm afraid something in the manufacturing process has changed. I know they're usually fantastic because I've had my share of them! But, alas, the love is no longer there.
After seeing Bubba Straw Envy, it's unsurprising that straws are the most popular item purchased by customers: )br>It does not say it comes with a straw, which was my oversight. The word 'Straw' in the name, on the other hand, misled me because I don't research cups thoroughly before purchasing them. Having said that, the cup is of excellent quality and design. Because it can't be sealed, this isn't a good choice if you plan to travel by car, on foot, or in any other mode of transportation.
Iced tea is something I drink all year long. In the mornings, instead of carrying a coffee cup, I carry an iced tea cup. I'd heard about these insulated cups that keep the ice frozen all day, and I knew I had to get my hands on one. I have a second Bubba cup, and I'm familiar with the brand. It has survived my dishwasher, daily carrying back and forth, and multiple droppings on the floor (which I do not recommend) and is still in good condition, so I went ahead and paid what I thought was an absurd amount of money for one cup. I absolutely adore it! I'll need at least four more of these cups because they're hand washable, and I stick to the hand wash rule because I want the lid to keep its shape. I really like how the straw has teeth on the bottom to keep it from falling out of the cup. However, the most important thing to remember is this: I love how the ice stays frozen and doesn't melt for the entire day! Without a doubt! At 7 p. m. , I fill it. 30 a. When I get home at 5 p. m. , I'll dump the same exact ice out. 00 p. Even when I refill the cup throughout the day, the ice remains frozen. I can't express how much I adore this cup!.
I bought two. The temperature is maintained in these cups. I can leave it o- for a long time! The only thing that would make this a 5-star cup would be if the lid had a slider to close it shut for traveling vs. the screw-on lid. being in possession of a straw However, I enjoy having the straw as well. If I put this cup in a bag with large side beverage pockets and it's full, the liquid will spill out. They easily fit into the cup holders in my car.
The straw opening is too large, and it spills easily; I understand they wanted a dual-purpose lid, but two lids would be better. It doesn't appear to be a standard double wall, which consists of a smaller plastic cup inside a larger cup. To me, it does not appear to be a double wall. I had to tape over the hole while the straw was in it and off to one side to keep the cup from sweating and spilling. The cup appeals to me, but it is not my favorite. Since I taped the huge hole shut, it does a much better job of keeping my drink cold. It's heavy and easily knocked over if you use a laptop table like I do; the cup falls over when I barely move the table.
(At my desk, I usually have two mugs! ) The coffee stays at the temperature I prefer for several hours; it's still warm later, but not as hot as I'd like; and the ice water is frequently still icy when I return the next day, despite spending 17 hours on a desk in a climate-controlled environment. br>br>I've done a lot of research and believe Bubba is superior to most other brands, and at $10 a mug, I'm not going to switch anytime soon. Rather than the 30 oz Yeti shape, I prefer the narrow and straight version. They're more comfortable, appealing, and convenient to transport. I prefer the lid as well. These aren't the kind of water bottles you'd carry in your purse! The top does not close and the lid is silicone-sealed. I've been looking for a travel lid, but I've had no problems keeping it in my car or in my hand. br>br>I finally found a handle for this style Bubba! Greens Steel Beast Handle for 20oz Tumblers Rambler Cup (It is only available in a few colors on Amazon). There are a few different colors available, and they are all Envy S or Envy SS styles. I've washed every single one of them in the dishwasher (including one I bought previously). I've always put the lids on top of the stainless steel on the bottom rack. After a year of daily use, the lids are starting to loosen (they still don't leak, and I've contacted Bubba about replacements; the lifetime warranty is awesome!). )br>br>I just bought a bunch of these as gifts for an all-day event. Mexico all-inclusive vacation I hope they are adored by everyone as much as I am. br>br>The only criticism I have is that the mugs themselves state that they are not dishwasher safe, despite the fact that the listing claims otherwise. I've always ignored the sticker and put them through the machine anyway, even on high heat, with no problems, but they don't match the listing.
For years, we've been fans of Bubba cups, especially the 32 oz, but I needed something smaller for work, and those were just too big. I also had problems with the office temperature being so high that ice, even in styrofoam, simply vanished. I decided to give these stainless steel ones a shot, and I can't say enough good things about them. When I'm at home, they literally keep ice in my glass all night, and at work, they keep ice in my drink all day. Cleaning is a breeze. The little indents around the glass's circumference actually help me hold it. I have arthritis, so the slight difference in texture from smooth sides makes it easier for me to pick up. I intend to purchase more.
