I do not believe it does. A glass bottle with a wide mouth is used.
This glass isn't very insulated since it is made out of glass. My experience has been that when you put cold water in it, it stays cool for a few hours. If you want insulation, this is not the bottle for you.

Having purchased two of these bottles, I am in love with them. In addition to getting plenty of compliments, I was pleased to find that they were durable. During one drop I bent the wood on the lid for a little, but only the wood was slightly indented. The price is a bit too high for my tastes, so I wish I could purchase them for my children at a lower cost. As they are a bit heavy and a child may drop them frequently, I think this is not a good choice for young children. There will be fewer lives left for them than mine, because I would only have seven left. I would definitely recommend this product. For your information Make sure your lids are clean, I had to exchange a bottle because there was something black stuck in the groves of the lid. I am so happy that I exchanged because the price has gone up significantly. Until another deal comes along, I will wait to buy more for my teenage children. A glass bottle of this quality is hard to find. rim fits perfectly over the mouth and is comfortable to drink from. No leaks occur due to the very tight mounting screws on the lamp.
