It is double walled, but since it is made of metal and as a result of its small size, the outside gets cold or hot, depending on what you put inside. Although it's not pure stainless steel, it still looks stylish, does not impart a metallic taste, and I do not have to worry about my cat knocking it over. This is a 5 star rating from me.

My heart melts when I see Titanium ware of the best quality I have ever Snow Peak double wall mugs have a slight dent on the rim in all of the four I have purchased. This seems to be a manufacturing defect, but the rest of the mugs are perfect. These cups are good for sake, but they would also work as shot glasses for espresso or alcohol, or even as tiny teacups. They are expensive, but their quality is worth it.
