Is it true that these are made in China?
I'm not sure, but they appear to be fairly durable! They are suitable for use in gift bags.
Is there an indention in the sides or are they perfectly square? For a 21st birthday, I would like to personalize them with a vinyl sticker. ?
They have rounded corners and are smooth. They resemble votive holders in appearance. I intend to paint on them. For a small decal, they should be fine.
Is the measurement system in inches or centimeters? I'm curious because they appear to be much smaller than those measurements. ?
Yes . I etch beautifully with these in a laser that only clears 2 inches.

I bought these to engrave for a secret Santa gift using my Glowforge laser cutter. Because of their flat sides, they worked perfectly. I was pleasantly surprised by their high quality, which included thick glass. For the price, I expected them to be thinner and less expensive.
