To begin with, the Glencairn glass arrived in an envelope! Did I say there was glass involved? I'm not sure how this glass got here intact, but it did. Non- The thin, flimsy Glencairn box was wrapped in a thin layer of bubble wrap and placed inside the padded envelope. That is all there is to it. I'm blown away once more. There are no Glencairn markings on the glass except for the "thin flimsy box. " That, combined with the dimensions being off, makes me suspicious. The standard Glencairn can be seen in the photos attached. Whether it's true Glencairn or not, I still enjoy it! The price is far too high if it isn't genuine. Other crystal cut Glencairn 'like' glasses on amazon for 15 bucks that I am 100% sure are not real are not real are not real are not real are not real are not% For what it's worth, they also come in a nice Glencairn box. In any case, it's still a nice-looking glass that does the job. The fact that it is heavier and more sturdy in my hand is the main reason I prefer it to the standard Glencairn. The cut glass is more comfortable to hold and looks nice, so it's become my go-to. I'm drinking my bourbon straight from the bottle in this glass.
When I was in the UK, I got the same one and gave it to my parents; now I'm thinking about getting one for myself. At $50, you'd think you'd get a good glass, but mine had a few bubbles and flaws. Despite the fact that I am not a perfectionist, I would prefer to purchase something of higher quality. As is customary for glass, the design is excellent.
Is this a genuine opportunity? Perhaps not, but it's a very well-made film. I'm going to take the claim that this product is a Glencairn with a grain of salt, but the craftsmanship is excellent. The glass is well-made and attractive. It's noticeably thicker but, for some reason, a few millimeters shorter overall than a standard Glencairn. It has some heft to it and feels very solid in the hand, similar to a rocks glass. For that extra touch of class over a regular Glencairn, this is a must-have.
a replacement was sought. The glass was delivered, and when I opened it, BAM. In the glass, there is a large bubble. There were six other minor inclusions upon closer inspection, but Glencairn's quality control needs to improve for $45 worth of product. I liked the glass enough to try a different one, but this one is being returned! I'll update this post once the replacement has been installed. br>br>Update: I'm crossing my fingersbr>br> I received the replacement glass, which had only one minor flaw. Unless you look very closely, you won't notice it. I'm going to keep this one; it's a great glass!.
It's a nice product, and the size is perfect for sampling. The bottom of the heavy base has a sunburst pattern. On the side of the glass, there is a clear circular decal with the logo on it. It appears to be adequate, but I would have preferred the logo to be engraved. It's a good idea to wash your hands. The presentation box is attractive, and the glass fits loosely within it. Inside the box, I would have preferred the glass to be wrapped in soft gift tissue so that the receipt could unwrap it. If the glass is crystal, the price is justified.
This item was purchased as a present. The first one was returned because it had bubbles and flaws. The second one was slightly better, but still not outstanding. Giving as a gift would embarrass me. This is unquestionably not good value for money.
These Whiskey glasses are decent and sturdy. These would be appropriate as a gift as well. However, at this price point, you'd expect a higher level of attention to detail. I noticed bubbles in the glass, which was unusual for such a well-made drink. made out of crystal glass.
Since seeing it in a bar in Chicago for a cousin's wedding, I've always wanted it. It'll set you back a little, but you're worth it, baby. When you feel how heavy they are, you'll know you've received the goods.
