It has a neck size of 28/400.
I'm not sure if replacement lids are available, but the cap appears to be of a standard size. I'm not sure if that is of any assistance.
Why not? I'm not sure. You'd have to find a suitable replacement. The spray top is not included with it.

50 of the order was damaged at the factory and had to be replaced. When creating a glass vessel, a controlled break is used to separate the glass from the tooling (a blowpipe). To put it another way, you're thermally shocking the glass in a controlled manner. When it arrived, however, it was either too chilled or they had broken it off too soon. and/or the glass was cooled too quickly (even borosilicate, which was heated and blown). If not annealed, it will have a shorter life if shaped and then left out on the counter to cool. To prevent thermal shock – stress from forming on glass, anneal / cool it slowly. br>br>What arrived was a bottle with a hairline fracture that grew rapidly without any further thermal shock. br>br>So the short answer is that if you buy these jars, be careful and look for hairline fractures near the bottle's neck. Declare it faulty and send it back! (Because these are not tempered and will shatter in a messy and dangerous manner (setting high-stress, improperly annealed glass on a marble counter can shatter; You've been badly cut. ))br>br>[*for a completely different product, look up tempered glass].
My tincture will fit perfectly in these amber jugs. I wish the opening was a little bigger to make pouring a little easier, but it does the job and I'm happy with it.
The amber bottles were as expected, but the lids were made of very thin, low-cost plastic and a separate plastic plug. All of the bottles like this I've ever used have had hard rubber or thick plastic lids. I'm very disappointed, and I don't think I can trust these thin lids. I'll be more cautious the next time I place an order.
I'm extracting vanilla from my bottles. Using the funnel provided, a 750 ml rum bottle will perfectly fill one of these bottles. They have the same amber color as a large vanilla bottle. Furthermore, the top of the bottle's plastic stopper keeps any particles out. Although smaller bottles can be purchased for distribution, the funnel and plastic stopper are ideal for the first phase of vanilla extraction.
"What I liked" is what I'm talking about. These amber glass bottles were packaged very nicely and securely, solid build, the amber tint is perfect; just as you'd want it to be, the caps are nice just don't be careless and go Hercules on tightening them, the white pieces seal real nice and tight, and the metal funnel is impressively well constructed. The funnel and the two extra caps aren't an afterthought. I personally keep colloidal silver in these bottles. Overall, this is an excellent product that I would purchase again or give as a gift.
Everything was in perfect working order when it arrived; I had everything I needed to make homemade Kahlua with these. a thick piece of glass Caps that keep the air out; The funnel was an excellent addition. It's simple to transfer liquid into the bottles, and there's no mess or spillage. br>I am very happy with my purchase. I'm thinking about getting another set.
I wanted to use the bottles for a second fermentation of kombucha, but they must not be airtight because the kombucha does not come out carbonated at all in these bottles compared to others I've tried. It all depends on what you're going to do with it.
These appear to be excellent value for money. They struggled to fill them with beer when I took them to my local brewery. There was a lot of foam coming out, and it was difficult to keep them sealed. To keep the beer secure, they used small clear and black tops. These are subpar when compared to a growler purchased on site. If you want a brewery growler's quality, I'd recommend investing in something more substantial. Your beer is acceptable for the price and convenience of two-day shipping. I suppose what you pay for is what you get.
