Questions & Answers
I recommend storing the beer at a pressure of 13 to 15 PSI overnight. This will slightly force carbonation into the beer, resulting in more carbonation. I'd lower the pressure to around 3 psi before pouring, as 15 psi will dispense too quickly, resulting in too much head (foam). In general, I keep the beer at 10 to 11 psi and serve it at 3 to 5 psi. br>br>Please let me know if this is of any assistance.
Yes, both can be taken apart for storage or transportation without causing any pressure loss.
I had to change a few things to make it work, such as adding a fitting and attaching a hose with an infuser.

This was purchased primarily for the purpose of making nitro coffee. The growler appears to be well-made, and the lid in particular impresses me. The fact that the faucet and regulator connectors are standard quick connects appeals to me greatly. I'm also pleased that this growler allows me to use a stout faucet. br>br>I contacted the company to ask a few questions before purchasing and was extremely pleased with their customer service, which was prompt, courteous, and knowledgeable. br>br>If there's one drawback I've discovered, it's that you have to use screw-on gas chargers, which is only a problem if you're making nitro coffee like me. To connect it all, I needed to get a nitrogen cylinder from Airgas, a tank regulator from Trailkeg, and an adaptor hose from Trailkeg. Setting up was a breeze once I had everything I needed, and I was able to pour a cup with relative ease. br>br>I haven't tried it with beer yet, so I haven't used the mini regular or the faucet that came with it. Aside from that, I'm very happy with my purchase.
This is the best portable keg on the market, according to my research. To begin with, it makes use of a double-walled vacuum-insulated bottle. Everyone else drinks from a growler with a single wall that isn't insulated. Your beer will stay colder for longer as a result of this. Another advantage is that you can use bottles from the Yeti or RTIC brands. Depending on the situation, I can use a gallon or a 64oz cup. Nothing is made of plastic (except the tap handle, which can be replaced with your favorite tap handle if desired), so there is no risk of it breaking. Cleaning is simple thanks to the wide mouth, and virtually every part of the growler can be replaced for maintenance. On their website, www. , you can find a variety of other accessories. trailkeg. If you want to use your existing gas system instead of buying disposable CO2 cartridges, something like a gas adapter is available. If you have more than one growler, extra lids are also available. It's also great for making nitro coffee because it keeps the coffee cold all day. Throughout the day, coffee is served, and at night, beer is served!.
For quite some time, I had hoped to upgrade to a CO2 growler. I enjoy filling growlers at local breweries, and there is one in my town, but I found that the glass growlers quickly lost carbonation. I got a 64oz Yeti, which was better, but it can be difficult to pour. For the past month, I've been using the Trailkeg Gallon (which is also compatible with the 64oz Yeti). I like the product's quality; it's easy to put together and clean, and the ability to use it with other internal thread growlers gives it a lot of versatility. I did have a problem with the regulator not working properly, so I contacted Trailkeg, and they sent me a replacement in a couple of days, along with some CO2. I've only tried it with a few different local brews, but the pour has been excellent. I've been on 1 CO2 for 5 days with the gallon hold beer.
I purchased the Trailkeg in order to keep my beer cold while I was away from home. I haven't been able to find a growler that will provide me with a good draft while I'm away from home until now. It's exactly what it says on the tin! The beer stays cold for a long time, and the product is well constructed. durable and sturdy/ the two taps provided are a fantastic feature, and I had no trouble filling (or emptying) it. I haven't tried hot drinks yet, but I intend to do so next month when we go camping. I'm excited to take it tailgating in the Pacific Northwest this fall; the Trailkeg is highly recommended!.
Growler is fantastic! So far, I've used it a few times and it's kept beer fresh and under pressure for days. I used to buy glass growlers from brew pubs, but they would quickly go flat or spoil if I didn't use them right away. The issue has been resolved. br>I was able to use it to force carbonate a beer that had not yet been carbonated after coming straight from the bright tank. The quality of all the fittings, as well as the overall functionality, have left me very impressed. It met my expectations and I would purchase it again.
I have several units, including the UKeg 128, and the only thing I can think of to improve it is a sight glass for the remaining volume. It is well-made and simple to operate. Works well with nitro beers, as well. Cheers.
A fantastic product. My favorite beer was just poured into mine for the first time today! From the first pour to the last, everything was perfect. Tastes exactly like a fresh pint of beer from a tap roon.
When the pressure in my TrailKeg rises, it leaks. I considered returning it and getting a replacement, but Amazon won't let me because of the item's origin. Except for that, I really like the quality and feel of it, and it works great. Also, after a few minutes in the fridge, all of the CO2 leaks out, leaving you with no pressure:.
