My favorite part of this bottle is the bottle cap. In the light of the other reviews and my own experiences, I removed the paper I found inside the cap and put them through the dishwasher before use. One of the containers in the fridge was knocked over by my son and no leak was noticed. The product is excellent. I will buy.

For the week, I bought them in advance so that I could make the daily smoothies. The bags feel durable, and I've opened and closed them with no problems. (I even stuffed them in my gym bag without any damage. ) It is easy to clean with an ordinary sponge or a wet cloth. It is always my routine to rinse as quickly as possible after consume contents so that washing will be easier. There is no weird smell in the room There was nothing I liked about the smells stuck to the plastic blender bottles. Even after removing some of the lid liners, I am still not experiencing leakage.

Leakproof is not quite the right word

Adding electrolyte powders to water has worked well for me using these. There is still a slight leak in the jar when I shake it up. Eventually, the paper liner inside the lid will also loosen and fall out, which will make the problem that much In my opinion, 16 oz of water is a little too much for them to add electrolytes to. When I bought them to use this way I didn't realize that they would hold exactly 16 ounces, which is as advertised, however, there was an extra volume once I added the powder to them. There is a nice wide mouth on these, but I would like them even more if the lid was metal with a middle stopper to actually keep leaks out.
