They look hefty and feel sturdy, but they aren't going to break if dropped! I highly recommend this item if you don't want your guests drinking out of stereotypical solo cups!

For my husband since he broke a really nice engraved glass, I purchased these to keep outside while we sit outside. It looks good, and it's dishwasher safe, too, so that's a plus. Considering the price and what I was expecting, they are pretty much exactly what we got. They do "feel" plastic, but that's to be expected, so I think they are pretty good for the price.
