It is true. All of these are brand new and come in a box from Waterford. We enjoy them a lot, and they are beautiful.
Unlike the original Martini glass I broke and replaced, this glass is not made of Lismore. has a more elegant cut and is a little smaller. Almost overflowing with 8 oz. of liquid, it is solid. I used to have another or two glasses in my old one. In this glass, the bowl had a lot more cuts and they were smaller than it had been in the old glass. In contrast to the old base, this one does not have any cuts. The old one hasn't lost its luster to my taste, but it is still pretty. I don't know where it was made, but it came from Eastern Europe.

It changed my perspective when I realized what the difference was between Lismore and Lismore Diamond. This type of glass is smaller, does not have cuts on the base, and has dozens of cuts on the glass. I think it is not nearly as pretty as the original Lismore, though it is much less expensive. If only I had thought to buy a second set while I was in Ireland last year.
There are several Waterford martini glasses in my collection, including the Siren, the Quadrata, the Seahorse, the Clarion, and the It's not unexpected that these glasses capture the light exceptionally well, since the rest of the Lismore Diamond looks dull in comparison. Waterford's small martini glasses are a perfect choice for female guests since they are smaller than other types. Waterford's larger martini glasses generally contain more alcohol than is good for women, and many women prefer this to the large amounts of liquor that they get from larger martini glasses. This glass is brilliantly reflective and fine. I highly recommend it for use in a smaller cup.

This is flawed or a fake, and I am not scared to say so. One of the glasses has a cut that's almost sharp to the touch while the other has a smooth cut. Waterford Crystal is one of my favorite brands I have many different There are no others that feel the same as these.
In my collection of crystal I have exclusively the Lismore pattern from Waterford. They were ordered for a shortage of martini glasses that I had. This is a beautiful pair. One of the glasses, however, had a wavy flaw in one small spot. There was not enough in it to make it worth returning, but I thought it was worthy of mention. However, I am very pleased with my purchase besides that.
The crystal Martini glasses brighten the room like jewels when lit.
