This is the best pair of glasses I've ever owned. This makes them useful for a variety of purposes. They are rather delicate and break pretty easily if there is anything wrong with them. When entertaining, sometimes three of twenty are lost. They appear thick and sturdy, but during an evening, we lose them. It is easy for them to chip together. In spite of that, they clean well (I wash them by hand) and the presentation is pretty good.
