Stanley Classic Stay Chill Vacuum Insulated Pint Glass Tumbler, 16oz Stainless Steel Double Wall Rugged Metal Drinking Glass, Dishwasher Safe Insulated Cup

Not exactly what I had in mind when I placed my order. I'm returning mine because I thought I was buying the same mug as the one I already own, the Stanley Classic Stay Chill Vacuum Insulated Pint Glass, 16oz, which is very high quality and has a nice lid with a big opening that allows my coffee to cool just enough so it doesn't burn my mouth. I thought this was the same thing, but it's smaller and less impressive (see photo of Stanley on right), and it doesn't have a lid. I can see how some people would prefer this because it is smaller and fits nicely in their hands. I filled it halfway with 2 cups of water, and it's just below the rim. My favorite mug (shown on the left) holds two measured cups and still has over an inch of space at the top. Mine also has a thicker, more substantial feel to it. Both weigh 16 ounces, but the Stanley stacking pint is significantly smaller. Some people may prefer it, especially for cold drinks, but I'm returning it.

Overall: br>These are my favorite cups; I've had mine for 5 years and use them every day. I purchased one for my wife and then purchased new ones when these with a different and much nicer texture grip were released. packaging: br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>b br>I'm deducting one star because the packaging is unsanitary and unacceptable. I paid less than half as much for other cups (for guests, the pool, etc. ) and they came in a box with either styrofoam or, at the very least, a plastic wrap around the box. These, on the other hand, aren't in a box, aren't sealed in a bag, and are tossed into an Amazon shipping envelope at random. To be honest, it's disgusting, and paying this much for a cup that arrives in such a state is a slap in the face. It's a simple 5 stars if these are packaged properly.

For years, Stanley's products have been excellent, and the quality of this tumbler demonstrates that they have not 'cheapened' their offerings. br>It's the perfect weight, sturdy so you don't have to worry about it tipping over, a good size for male or female hands, and the rim is just right for easy drinking. br>The money was well spent.

These insulated pints are great for both hot and cold drinks. They keep hot coffee hot for hours, and iced coffee or a cold beer keep my glass from sweating all over the place. Even better, they can be washed in the dishwasher. If I need a lid for whatever I'm drinking, I use Klean Kanteen lids in these, as suggested by other reviews.

We are tea drinkers and use them for hot tea. This is our fourth mug in the family. They keep the tea hot for much longer and are significantly larger than a standard tea mug, which is a huge plus. It comes highly recommended!.

Even so, it's still fantastic and keeps your drinks chilled. There isn't a single regret in my life. The quality of this cup is ridiculously amazing and satisfying, so I went on to buy four more.

Don't be fooled by more expensive brands that haven't been around as long as this one has. This company has a wide range of products, all of which are of excellent quality and function. Unless there is a significant change in quality or price, I will continue to use this brand.

They keep things colder for longer than any of our other insulated cups, and despite the open top, we've had ice last overnight. I can't say enough about how high quality and durable these cups are; I can't recommend them highly enough!.
