Cup bottoms are slightly concave, so this one does not have a normal bottom
If you use tea bags you can either hang them over the edges or drop them in the water for the amount of time needed to brew while covering them. The new cup I bought is my favorite!

The only way I'm getting into loose tea is with these cups. I just discovered tea (decaf) after reading A Fib. With this set, you get a really fine stainless steel strainer and a ceramic lid which keeps your tea hot while it steeps. I like the size of the object and how it feels in my hand. It also looks nice in the box, and would make a great Christmas gift if it were I plan to give more of these as Christmas presents with a box of Typhoo British tea. In the pictures you can see what size it is in comparison to an iPhone 11, and the three pieces you get in the box, the lid, mug, and strainer.
I like the tab on the infuser so I don't have to worry about burning myself when I remove it from the mug. Moreover, I like the fact that the lid doubles as a coaster for the infuser, as it saves me having to go to the sink once I'm done infusing I like how well it comes packaged and how pretty the color is. The mug is great and I recommend it.
