There is a total length of 9 inches on the spoon. Approximately 1 3/4" is the length of the spoon, and 7 1/4" is the length of the handle.
Unlike teaspoons, these spoons do not measure out to a teaspoon. The glasses are an excellent choice for stirring iced tea, drinking chocolate milk, or eating ice cream. I wouldn't recommend it for soups or chillies.
It is made of stainless steel, measuring a true 9" long and 3/32" thick, tapering from 9/16" to 1/8" wide at the bowl and tapering to 5/32" thick at the top. Featuring rounded oval shape 1 1/8" wide, 1 5/8" long, and 3/16 deep, this bowl is a true oval shape. There are crisp lines on the corners, but they are not sharp, so they will not scratch or cut as some stampings can do. This is a solid, highly polished stamping with a high polish. After a while, I was frustrated and ran to my computer where I discovered the style and length of these spoons I loved. Reviewers said it was a good product, so we bought it. I am sure that we have had way too many root beer floats lately, just because we love the brilliant, stylish spoons!.
