Although the engraving does appear black in the photo, it is a light brown in color and not nearly as nice or visible in person as it appears.

After a week, it began to rust. It's so funny. Rusting on the print has caused it to corrode. After stirring your coffee, it appears you need to dry it off right away. The fact that it says FOREVER on it is a bit ironic.

My husband and I gave each other this spoon as an anniversary gift. When I checked it when it arrived, the inscription on the spoon appeared to be faded, and I could not read it. When I got it out on the morning of our anniversary, it remained clear, but it's no longer visible. It's a very disappointing experience. I am not sure why the spoon faded, but it did. (I put it in its package after putting it in the sun).

In spite of that, the picture shows a good-quality spoon and the description talks about it. I love the way the engraved message turned out and it is exactly like the photo and description. There was nothing special about the spoon, it was a common teaspoon purchased from a restaurant supply shop. In addition, I may order this again in the future. There was one particular thing that disappointed me most about the spoon the quality. There was no high quality to be found there.

An anniversary gift of this kind was perfect. As a result, the print is barely readable and it is not centered, so I'm surprised it is being given as an anniversary gift. My spoon feels like the dollar store spoons. It is not heavy nor do I notice it when I hold it. In the meantime, it at least gives me ideas what not to do and maybe I can work with this spoon into an Anni project more in depth in the future.

I enjoy the product, but the packaging the seller chose to ship it in was weak and did not protect the item. It was to be a nice little gift that I placed in the coffee hub on our anniversary morning. Although I had originally planned on using ground shipping, I am now considering changing my mind. I found exactly what I wanted in this product. Packages from the shipper were not a good choice.

It went to my adult daughter who had to move back in with me recently and sometimes doesn't feel so grown up as a result. It is my pleasure to let her know that I love her, she is welcome to stay as long as she needs, and so she need not feel bad.
