JUNK! I returned it, I got a refund, and I got a replacement.
I like the size, weight, and texture of this. Desserts, small fruit, pudding, etc. , will all be made with them. I also plan on making sweet ginger tea with them! I like how it's priced so well too! Your kind consideration is greatly appreciated.
Please take note Based on the rating features, I awarded one star for "sheerness," but I have no idea what they mean by that term. It's so cute how these spoons turned out! Due to my mom's love of drinking her coffee with a small spoon, I purchased it for her. I serve my mom's coffee in a demitasse cup, but the spoons are not long enough to be seen so, when serving her coffee in a demitasse cup, just the tip of the handle is visible. Spoons are not as thin as they could be, but they're also not as thick as they could be.
There is nothing wrong with the spoons. Demitasse spoons with a mirror finish would match my other flatware, and they were exactly what I wanted to eat soft boiled eggs with. After watching several seasons of Master Chef, where a soft boiled egg was one of the challenges, the idea of eating soft boiled eggs with a spoon from an egg holder was born.
