Not your typical soup spoon, to be sure. The quality is good, but they require a very large mouth to fit into. On my next order, I'd look for the size. They're a LARGE group of people.
They're a tad on the large side. The side of the spoon was too sharp, and it cut the inside of my lip. It would be ideal if they were a little smaller.
I like these spoons a lot! I ordered two packs to make sure I had enough because we seem to be throwing them away in this pandemic, but I have had no problems with these spoons. They complement my white and clear crystal dishes beautifully. They also don't appear to be easily damaged, appear to be extremely durable, and are made of high-quality materials. br>Delicious food.
The spoons are nice, but they are sharp; they cut my mouth a couple of times before I realized it was the spoons; my fiance ground the edges down even more to keep them from cutting me; great value; I needed spoons and enjoy eating cereal with soup spoons;.
The size, weight, and shape are exactly what I was looking for, and I was hoping for the same color. However, when I opened the box, I discovered that the spoons were shiny black rather than matte. We kept them because it wasn't a deal-breaker for me. I really wanted to like them, but after the first use and wash, one of them became discolored. I assumed it was a one-time occurrence because the rest of the spoons were fine, but after continued use, it appears that it wasn't a one-time occurrence because all of the spoons now have discoloration spots, mostly on the back of the spoons bowl.
The shape of the spoon is fine, but the material from which it is made is not. When you lick the end of a battery, you get that sensation; it's not so pleasant when you have to eat with it in your mouth.
They're fantastic in soups and chilis. It's gleaming, sturdy, and a good deal.
