It's lovely to have ceramic spoons like this. It is possible to hang on to them for years as long as you don't drop them.
There are ceramic surfaces, which may be a little slippery for people who are old. People are different so it depends on them. This spoon, however, is my favorite.

But there is a hole on each spoon handle which I don't exactly know why the hole is there. What does it mean if we think of it as a trademark of the company? The way they are made is also a plus, they are dishwasher safe, and the thickness and quality are excellent. It is virtually impossible for them to break while being washed.
