I made this for my kids and nephews, and they loved it. As much as my four year old son wanted to help, I am not able to let him use the kitchen knives because of safety reasons. In contrast, I gave the gloves and the larger knives to my nephews and kept the small knife for my father. An older child would have the strength and coordination to cut larger objects, as well as objects that are firmer. An excellent gift for kids who are interested in helping out.
