It is my second purchase of this knife (the first went missing after a cake delivery and serving), and I could not be happier with it. Considering that it costs so little, I am surprised at the sharpness and sturdiness of such a cheap product.

I bake and use it for leveling, layering, and trimming. My current one has worked so well that I may purchase more in case the other mysteriously disappears as well.

There is a good blade on the knife and it is very sharp. This item cannot be used because the handle did not stay bonded to the blade and is difficult to use as a result. As a result, the blade does not remain secure.

serrated blade of the knife makes it very easy to cut the layers of a cake before frosting it. The knives in my kitchen are never placed in the dishwasher. I always hand wash them. All the information stated was included, and it was delivered on time.

Serrated knife with a nice appearance. It claims to perform as a bread knife, but I found this to be an awkward thing to do. It is easy for this knife to perform well as a cake knife since it has a thin blade and a long handle. It is specifically useful for cutting With an angled serrated blade that is long enough (to go beyond the diameter of most cakes), a smooth, clean cut can be made. There is nothing fancy or elaborate about the handle it is made out of plastic. There is a reason it is green, but I do not know what it is. Once it was tested on a homemade loaf from a bread machine, and it came out okay. My other bread knives have thicker blades and different types of serrated edges, and I can slice a loaf of bread comfortably with them. As for using this knife to cut more loaves of bread, I can't think of using it unless the crust is soft and there is no alternative. But I would use a knife like this for cutting layers for Therefore, I would recommend this knife if you need to cut layers of cakes, not as a bread knife. And the price won't break the bank either.

Since it's a pretty sharp knife, I thought I'd use it on my best friend's birthday cake. It is definitely possible to use it to cut the cake in half if you want to add some filling in the middle. There was only one problem I was using a turntable. In spite of the material of the handle, it feels as though it might break anytime due to its being made of a fragile material. If you want to cut bread with this knife, it's also a high-quality knife. Just make sure it is a clean cut by staying still. You won't have a problem storing it but you should note that it is a long knife. It looks a lot larger in person as well.

In spite of the fact that the knife was smaller than I expected, it delivered in a few days and I used to slice my forêt noire cake which usually frustrates me because it gets ruined so easily, but this knife gave me ease and I was very pleased with the results. It was a good purchase for me.
