This appears to be the case
It is stated that a dozen equals twelve. It was a set of 12 (a dozen) knives that I ordered in Dec 2015 and received. Thus far, they've been holding up well, and we are satisfied with them.

Due to the fact that the description I have does not mention Oneida, I am not able to understand the previous poor The knife I have left is the one I gave my husband when we got married 33 yrs ago. He brought a collection of silverware with him, including a bunch of pistol handle knives. I knew I needed more knives like that since they were the best we had. After looking around, I found that this knife appeared to be the same and to be Our experiences with them thus far has been very positive. We have had them about two weeks. I am glad I don't have to share only one good knife since they are both of a good weight and well balanced.
There are some spots of rust on them so I have to hand wash them. This is a better set than my 55-year-old ones and I am not going to replace them all at this point since the rest of the set is fine. I'm still not totally satisfied with the outcome, however.
However, these knives rust when placed.
The exact item I was looking for - Handle with a hollow pistol grip!.
I wanted it and I got it exactly the way I had hoped for it to be. This is the best purchase I've made in a long time. Besides the great price, the service is fantastic!.
There is no such group as the Despite the description calling out an unknown brand, the knives themselves have a "Delco" marking (and one that is poorly marked at that).
