It's a good size. I would say they are about ten inches tall. Dinner plates of this size are perfect. As far as I'm concerned, they are standard sized.
A total of 12 plates were present. They were very popular with the kids.
There is a flat bottom to the plates. These were created for a large group of children and we placed each food item in a plastic condiment cup (the kind with the ketchup in it) and placed the cup on top of the picture. Preparing food in advance helped us minimize time spent in the kitchen. I was very pleased with the outcome. It is very well made.
